I don't know how many of you have ever heard of the TV show Top Gear, it's on the BBC channel, but anyway, here's a clip featuring a drag race between every generation on Z car from the 240 up to the 350. The results surprised me. Sort of.

And Top Gear. They did an episode with a Z32 racing and it kicked ass.

I'm not sure that's right. The twin turbo 90+ Z car should have had a crapload more power and about the same weight as a mid-80's Z car. Maybe the suspension was soft, allowing for a better drag launch with the older Z? I suspect this is not a very scientific 0-60 test with the same tires, etc., but more of a who had the best car and best tires on that particular day.

If you've ever watched top gear, it's not the most scientific car show. So, I bet you're right about it not being the most even test. But, it's still interesting. And entertaining.

No kidding. Watch the start on the first video again. There were some drivers that had just woke up from their naps when the first two or three took off.
