Chris#51EPGraham
Bumped and updated again on Sept 10, 2010. See list below...a large collection of '69 - '73 Datsun/Nissan PL510 stock and aftermarket parts salvaged from various 510's and other Datsuns, almost all used but also a few new items. I also have some other parts not listed. Have nothing specific to Z cars other than a B series 5 speed trans from an 810. Have never owned or stripped a wagon. News flash! I just shipped a boxed oil pan full of other parts from here (Maryland) to Corona, CA for $18.45 via USPS parcel post and it arrived in 2 days - parcel post can take up to 7 days and UPS-like tracking is available for a mere 80 cents extra. The low price tradeoff is a gamble that it might be fast or slow. USPS parcel quotes run 30 - 40% cheaper than priority or UPS. I encourage people to ask about all manner of small and trivial parts - they're dirt cheap to ship in USPS flat rate boxes, I've got so many that most aren't listed. It usually takes me a day or so to take photos if they're needed unless I already have them. I check specifications carefully. Chris at 410-286-0677....DIRECT EMAIL gets quickest response. Chris#51EPGraham
Do you have a pic of the DOBI spoiler? Thanks! Jesse, Clickable thumbnails to a medium file size. Email me for 1632 x 1232. Shipping would be a lot, but I think $50 plus whatever that is still beats the cost of new ones. This is chopped fiberglass matt construction. It came off a road racing car, and the little oblong hole in the middle was for an SCCA required tow hook. If you want a shipping quote, give me a zip code. Link to comment

Auctions aren't allowed... I guess you'll have to fight? To give you a rough idea of astronomical shipping costs to out west, I was just quoted $108 to ship a pair of trailing arms to Mesa AZ by UPS ground, including cost of boxes. That was at a UPS store, which doesn't mark up the calculator price. I just found out the hard way that Pack-N-Ship marks up UPS prices by about 20%. I'm working on numbers for this airdam. Big difference is that it only weighs about 1.25 lbs, so figuring the cardboard + packaging will outweigh it by a lot, maybe 5 lbs shipping weight. Link to comment

That was at a UPS store, bring it out here for a tug-o-war and its on! im  being on top of the wait list, its a spare for me. use 90050 (should be LA - close enough for an est.) be careful (20%!!! :o ) as ive shipped on someone elses acct from one and later found out they charged overnight and not ground!!! a cyl head(no cam) back east was only ~$60 from here Link to comment

You're talking about Pack-n-Ship stealth-charging for overnight when you used ground? Don't worry, I'll never use them again. My experience was shipping six alloy wheels to RI and I was confused as to the difference between P-n-S and the UPS store just across the boulevard. The springtime pollen count here is so high that I'm dizzy from shortness of breath after hauling two heavy boxes into the store, so my defenses failed me as they were weighed and the price quoted. The quote directly from UPS (ground) was $54. Same UPS ground service from Pack-n-Ship was $72. I'd been quoted $54 for the same thing 5 or 6 months before, so in my confusion I thought maybe UPS rates had gone up. The difference with FedEx: apparently they're the cheapest option of all, maybe even cheaper than USPS parcel post. Problem is that they always deliver to the wrong address and sometimes lose packages for weeks. It's great comedy if your customer has friendly neighbors and a sense of humor, but otherwise dicey. Ok, UPS online shipping calculator is down for some reason. Both LA and San Diego come up with the same price on USPS priority mail: LA zip 90050 - $46.80 + $12.00 box and pack + $50 part price = $108.80 total cost shipped. San Diego zip 92110 (took a wild guess) - exactly the same prices = $108.80 total cost shipped. I can get a UPS quote locally tomorrow. It could be more or less. I'm guessing at the price of an oddball sized large box trying to overestimate, so that could be less. Link to comment

G-Machine camber adj. bushings: they're installed in place of the stock front control arm (transverse link) pivot bushings. They only work on late style control arms w/ cylindrical bushings. Early style arms used a conical bushing in a conical seat. Give me a few for pics of swaybar, since I didn't have any taken yet. Link to comment

I'm still looking for a way to get the shipping/boxing cost down but I struck out talking directly to UPS. They were even higher than USPS for an item of this size. Coming up with a box that size cheap enough is gonna require some extra ingenuity. DAW...yeah, vaguely I knew about the Greyhound option and will look into it via the station in Annapolis. Not sure I trust them with fiberglass, but probably good for antiroll bars and the like. Link to comment

AZ to autocrossing in PA? What did you drive/co-drive? If you come east a lot, I heartily recommend running any of the SCCA events at FedEx field in Landover MD. It's an enormous lot with hills, so the courses are fast and always interesting, also a great group of people with high energy and always 200+ entries, even now. 240 - 250 used to be average. That's where I used to run. Link to comment

Another idea is to adapt one from a Toyota because they're much higher quality. I've got a couple, but any salvage yard would have them too. Link to comment
