Many have said the pan interferes with the steering link, and at a glance, it certainly looks like it would. Although I've also seen them in trucks before. I think you may be better off dropping in a rear sump Frontier motor with 240 cams. I may be able to help you out with those parts if you're interested, if not that's cool too, I wasn't tryin to sell you anything :D Quote Link to comment

pharouh Posted April 9, 2010 Report Share Posted April 9, 2010 here's one I've wondered about for a long time. A Ford flathead in a 620. It's small enough that it should fit easily. With the right equipment it would definitely make the horsepower.The sound would be awesome. Wouldn't be cheap though,but what engine swap is?
