denveratsun
Super cool camper man! I have seen exactly none of those in person....which may not mean they are super rare, but I have been "around"...as they say... I have seen 620 body styles with similar camper setups though and even they are very rare. Sweet truck...its cool that it has such low miles too... Quote Link to comment
Bleach
All the little gadgets in the camper that need fixing can add up to a lot of time and money. Test everything you can inside it. Quote Link to comment

nukeday
Seen at least 3 of these over a span of about 30 years. It's been several years since I saw the last one. The first one I was ever in had a V6 transplant, in San Diego. That was about 1978. The last one I saw was local to me, and may still be around. It was maroon, and had the Perris Valley chassis mount camper, very similar to yours. I think it's safe to say they are now pretty rare. They were underpowered in a big way, but the quality of the coach was relatively high. If it's been well cared for, it's probably worth something to the right buyer. The maroon one I mentioned was for sale at one point (2002?) for $3K, it didn't sell. Last time I checked on it, the guy had moved it inside his shop. Does yours have the mounts for the fender/overhang shock absorbers? They went from the bottom corner of the overhang down to the front fenders. That may have been a '69/'70 feature. Is yours a Perris Valley, or some other manufacturer? I'm not aware of any other outfit that built this type camper. If it's NOT a PV, then it's doubly interesting, and possibly even more 'rare'. Any more photos? Quote Link to comment
fisch
I've never seen one with a 521 cab. I have seen a few 620's and 720's in the internet, but a 521 is a first for me! Quote Link to comment

christ510
http://tinypic.com/v...pic=2rhsrcp&s=5 Worked on the camper today, it remindes me of back in the days when i had 510's, surprising how things come back to me. Painted the inside cabin cabinets white and cleaned the floors and washed the trucks exterior. Gonna post a pic of the rear dually wheels tomarrow i swear they are 15 inches deep.
