I'm BLUE
since I messed something up with the other one. now I have to figure out where to put things so I can tidy it up. should I mount everything against the firewall or against the kickpanel? Firewall or wherever it was factory , if you were to sell it and I was looking I want a clean tape up or loom job , and everything about or very close where it was suppose to go for diagnostics purposes , and re-sell value. Otherwords it would be an issue for me , but you can make it look cleaner than factory to ;) . Firewall is my vote Quote Link to comment
inline4
the only problem with the firewall is that I have a hole in the upper left where the harness comes through, and the harness is really long. Quote Link to comment
bonvo
decide where you wanna put the ecu then shorten the harness to give you the cleanest look Quote Link to comment
izzo
my god man, get that black tape off that yellow wire first! Zip tie the wires up. Or shorten them. I like having extra length and zip tie them in case i need to cut, move or w/e later. Quote Link to comment
INDY510
I was going to say how clean the wiring looks......... what's wrong with where it is now? Don't make me go take a pic of my passenger floor pan................... it makes your wiring look alot better Quote Link to comment
73dime
I would relocate the part of the harness that loops in and out of those two holes where the kick panel goes. With all the vibrating that the 510 makes, it may slowly cut your wires. If you feel around there you will notice it is kind of sharp. When I had similar situations I would buy some rubber trim and wrap the sharp part of the hole. Or you could just reroute it a different way. Do what you feel is best. Quote Link to comment
nukeday
I've used a piece of split vacuum line to line holes cut in the body, even if they are factory. Just slice it the long way and put a little trim adhesive on it. Stays put and works well for larger holes. Quote Link to comment

I did a bad job :o I'm gonna take apart the old harness and re route things in the engine bay to tuck it. Quote Link to comment
