makya
Man this thing is nice. If I wan't closing on my house on the 29th, I'd be all over this. Hell, I still might bid on it tonight, I'm gonna call him. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/79-DATSUN-620-4X2-PICK-UP-RARE-OPTIONED-CLEAN-TRUCK_W0QQitemZ330414199970QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item4cee3894a2 Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
That's a nice one. Wonder what the reserve is. Quote Link to comment
makya
I wonder too, Haven't called yet. I might have a buyer for some lake lots outside of town that I have, if they are serious, I might have enough to get serious buying it. If it doesn't meet his reserve, his # is posted. motavated
Its not a 4x4 I think. Quote Link to comment
Dat620guy
It's a 4x2 with dealer option offroad package. Quote Link to comment
makya
Yup, I'm retarded. I got all goofy because it looks exactly like mine did, and I ASS-umed it was a conversion. Damn, it's still nice though. I wonder if I could drive it from Id to Tx? Quote Link to comment
makya
I just talked to the guy, name's Justin, he moved from Portland last year, and he owns around 20 datsuns. It's a REALLY nice truck, and he might have a buyer for $3k if the auction falls through. It's a little too much for me to justify buying plus the cost of driving it back. :( Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
There was no rare factory option sunroof or rear slider window nor was there a 2" lift, in fact there was no 'off road package' back then. Some or all of this may have been provided by the dealer or could be purchased and installed by any owner. It's still a really nice looking truck for it's age. I had a 4" body lift and the 10.5 X 31 tires still rubbed. Quote Link to comment
Farmer Joe
so this thing has an empty front axle under it? there was a 72 620 at one of the local yard back when, that had a 4x4 conversion, but the front axle didnt have any guts. it was just a 2wd basically. there is a real 4x4 620 here in boise tho. http://boise.craigslist.org/cto/1644455651.html do want! He doesn't know which company did all the work to it though. He told me it had 2" blocks welded on to the body mounts, and it looked like a pretty clean job, so I'm guessing it wasn't the same company that did the Custom cab dually I had (RVindustries, they cut the wheelwells out with a torch to mount the dual wheels). The paperwork says Santa Ana, so maybe it was Low Industries? Quote Link to comment
