HRH
Really? I thought they were the same on all 4 door 510s, wagon and sedans. Quote Link to comment
qwik510
I have heard that the wagon window frames on the door are taller. Quote Link to comment
HRH
Oh yeah, now that I think about it, that's probably right. Went and dug through my old pictures just now, indeed it is much taller. Quote Link to comment

My friend figured that out the hard way,,,, I think he even had the doors off his 4dr before he realized they REALLY were not going to fit....... Quote Link to comment

420n620
tomorrow I'll check a few other detail stuff out to confirm I'm not missing something. I just went and check real quick and didn't get down to 1/16's or 1/4's but everything I wrote down was pretty consistent. Quote Link to comment

Is it possible the 68/69 wagons used similar 4dr doors but later ones might not have? Quote Link to comment
sssr20det510
Front doors are the same rears are not, the rear top corner is diff on the back doors I belive Quote Link to comment
420n620
that could be so but I've got nothing to compare to be sure. if I make it to a JY this week, I know of a 72 gOOn there and I'll check and see if they are. Quote Link to comment
sssr20det510
The goon back doors are not rounded like the 4 door, look at the pics of the window frame you can see Quote Link to comment
HRH
Yeah, picture the wagon as a 4 door, with the rear window line the upright. It would be way too straight with the wagon, hence, frames are different. I would lay odds the door is the same other than that. Might be able to pull out the frame, don't remember if they're two piece. I'd probably just try to find a wagon door. Quote Link to comment
SSS510
Front doors are interchangeable with 4dr and wagon! Rears are not... Quote Link to comment
lardlungs
Front doors are interchangeable with 4dr and wagon! Rears are not... cool thats what i heard today, I spent the day going to classic body shops and they all said the same thing " front doors match rears dont" Quote Link to comment
DRIVEN
The rear doors are different in the rear frame area. From the belt-line down they are the same. The front doors will interchange but the wagon window frames are about 1/4" taller. Klotz ran into that on his wagon. The wagon that I just sold had an extra set of doors from a 4-dr and they measured about 1/4" shorter than my 2 wagons. So are the the same? Yes and no. Clear as mud, right? Quote Link to comment
lardlungs
just to put this to rest, I know some of you already said this but, I tried to put a 4 door sedan door on my wagon and it did not fit. thanks for everyones help, this subject is now put to rest Quote Link to comment
