The swap was fairly easy. Used the stock trans mounting point for the starting locator.Fab some mounts to bolt to the stock front mount on the frame. Hardest part was finding headers........E BAY. I take the motor,engine up to 6500-7000 rpm.

It's my understanding that the majority of 4.3L headers fit GM engines, as long as it specificly says that they are designed for GM or Chevy 4.3L engines. Usually, the best that you will find are whats listed as "block huggers" which in your situation, may be exactly what you want since you're looking to save space under the hood. Your not likely to find any shortie style headers for a 4.3 that are resonably priced.

same here, and its what i wanted..reliable power, and this will be more power than i was originally planning on which is sweet

 

i was considering this option for a while still kinda considering it but i would like ot keep my car all nissan for what your doing a 4.3 would be perfect
