Smiley720
Swap and flip uppers or just pie cut them? Quote Link to comment
yello620
I read the other day about some of the Hardbody guys switching to a sentra booster. Read it over at Infamous Nissan.com And on the control arm/ball joint bind problem, why not build a set of custom arms. They are not hard to make, just use your stocker to make a jig. These a control arms that i built for converting a drum brake truck, but the idea is the same for yours. Quote Link to comment
pickleweasle
i understand what your sayin bout tha pinion angle being thrown off really bad. But what if that same design was used just in a forward setup? Quote Link to comment
MindlissMetalfab
Why are your lower links welded to each other? I wont get into the reverse 4 link end of things since you already decided to ignore everyone's advice on that. Quote Link to comment
Smiley720
Why are your lower links welded to each other? I wont get into the reverse 4 link end of things since you already decided to ignore everyone's advice on that. it isn't anymore, i changed that. Quote Link to comment
kaoss
I guess welding them together would help with the bushing destroying offset of the bag mounts. I have a feeling that in a couple years this truck's rear suspension will be getting done again. I know I am guilty of this, I redid my Mazda's rear suspension 3 times, and am on the second set up for the Hard Body that is in my garage. Quote Link to comment
kaoss
Oh, and a Geo Metro brake booster will help you in the front. They are small, plentiful and cheep. Quote Link to comment
Smiley720
This is just mock up, nothing is fully welded, I kinda wanted some feedback before I welded it up. I am going to plate the top of the square tubing after it is fully welded. The round tube will be cut down and the hole in the end of the square tubing will be plated also. Quote Link to comment
76bullit
Yes flip them over and swap them. It is the cheapest headache free way to do it. My friends is laying 18's Quote Link to comment
Smiley720
When I flip them, I put the ball joints in facing down the proper way they go in the control arms? I already have the front end apart so this won't be hard. Quote Link to comment
76bullit
This is the passenger side with the driver side control arm. Quote Link to comment

Smiley720
All right, I'm finally getting over being sick for a week. I will get back to work on the truck tomorrow and have some fresh pics up hopefully by Monday. I'm hoping to be almost finished bagging the drivers side by the end of the weekend. P.S. I would love a set of 17's to try on this weekend. wink wink Quote Link to comment

Smiley720
This was the first time she ever left the neighborhood, We drove her 140 miles round trip to the Golden Super Cruise. It was midnight on Friday when we finally got the interior in. The suspension performed beautifully, and the seats were nice and comfy. More pics coming when I find the cord for my camera.
