SurgeL320
Is anyone else interested in oldsmobiles? I wasnt at first but i traded some equipment i havent used in years for this 1967 oldsmobile 98 convertible. This is the ultimate cruiser. Kinda like a riviera, impala, buick of the same years. Ive lowered , threw rims, cleaned paint, cleaned motor, leopard dash... Ive become kind of attached to it. Heres a pic of how it sits now. I got rearended a few days ago .... so im gonna get me a fresh chrome bumper soon Quote Link to comment

SurgeL320
i just saw a delta 88 at the junkyard. infact there was like 2 full rows of olds , chevys, buicks from the same year pretty complete too. Fun cruisers! Quote Link to comment
woodside4032
When I was a kid I remember beating a 71 delta 88 to death. Such youthful fun. Quote Link to comment

SurgeL320
When I was a kid I remember beating a 71 delta 88 to death. Such youthful fun. Hell yes! im not even mad. Old cars are made to be fun any way you can. I sit on my fenders, lay on my trunk and hood. I dont even use my doors when the tops down . Quote Link to comment
SurgeL320
What's an Oldsmobile? Seriously? They dont make em anymore but theyre pretty popular Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
:) The 88 is a bit big for me. My dream Oldymoldbile is a 68 Cutlass. Definitely. Or maybe a Jetfire, but never seen one of those america's first turbocharged car (1962). I could be talked into buying a 61-63 F-85 with the alloy V8. They went out of business back in the 90s, right? Quote Link to comment
Bleach
A big convertible lowered like that does look nice. There was a breif moment in my life where I was going to buy one. I'd have to put some bigger wheels on it though. 18x10 zero offset :D Quote Link to comment
fastdadd
first car i "borrowed" from my mom was a 78 delta 88...grandpa took the motor out of it and put it in his p1800 volvo Quote Link to comment
SurgeL320
I bought the 14" Cragar ss for $25 a piece and they fit and look nice on the white lip tires. My friend intalled and balanced for free. it was worth it This is a 98 , supposed to be bigger and fancier than the 88. It comes with the 425 super rocket and hydramatic tranny i think. This is a mans car ... no powersteering. I bent the steering colum a bit the first days because i was i was pulling down instead of turning with 2 hands. The cutlass 442 are in super high demand. I would love to have my hands one one of those Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
98 has 'limo' back seat. Look at the rear doors, they are about 3" longer than 88 or Impala/Bonneville/Buick whatever. It's the same size as the Cadillac. Quote Link to comment
bonvo
love the car man nothin like the old tuna boats :D the front of it would make you think buick but the back looks cadyish i like it Quote Link to comment
