dimus
Hello Guys after my last Updated I have been working day and night on the car :) and I have found some good and bad things mostly bad, but lets make a recount. ************************************************************** The battery burners where damage so I replace the old ones The muffler was falling apart  (I have to work on this next week) The interior wasn't in the best condition so I decide to remove it and work on this next week This is the dirt I found on the floor after removing all this crap So we paint the floor with anti corrosive I steel need to fix 2 small holes and repaint the floor in flat black Finally some cleaning I found a couple of things that can go away this vacuum next to the carb Looks cleaner and I also remove some water lines (Lest points of failure:)) Here is the baby next to my FB after week one preparation for the track day:D By the way also bought new mirrors Quote Link to comment
motavated
How are you going to race with only a gallon of gas? I know Datsun's give modest mpg, but common! How long are the races really? Around the block? Also please tell me you cleaned up the floors before you sprayed it with anti corrosive paint. It looks like you just painted over the dirt and the rust. Gas next to a battery is not a very good idea. especially a loose battery. Edited June 8, 2009 by Motavated Quote Link to comment

paradoxx
did you just washed the floor with water? I suggest applying "Dual Etch" from a sherwin williams dealer and then paint. Because you wont see that the rust is working under the paint, and someday you will be li the flintstones. Let me see those mirrors :D Quote Link to comment
