datzenmike
I am looking for a wiring harness and ECU for a KA24E (single cam). From a 5spd. ECUs from 5spds. have a top gear speed cut and a rev limiter. Automatic ECUs don't have this. Link to comment

datzenmike
So I hear. I talked with someone who said there is a 180KPH speed cut AND a rev limiter 5,000 RPMs I think on the standards. (see if I can remember what was said) If you just disconnect the tranny speed sensor it gets rid of the speed cut but causes the rev limiter to randomly cut out between 4K-6K. It just jumps all over. I was told any automatic ECU will work.... which I hope is true as the automatic one I got from BEEBANI has a large 14 on it and a smaller A11-B17 GO4. Link to comment
Icehouse
I've only had luck with 11's but let us know. Shit your truck is a rock crawler anyways, 2K is all it will ever see :D Link to comment
nis720
Any Auto Tranny ECU will do. I've tried a few and all the 5sp one cut out at 3,500rpm in 4th and 5th gear (no speed sensor connected). The #11 ECU and #15 have both ran well in my truck. Link to comment
kiznook
I have one from a auto and one from a 5 speed. Link to comment
