  1. So, I'm still waiting on parts from Techno Toy Tuning, and I can't help but feel as though I'm being dicked around a little bit. I'd asked about combining shipping on a couple items, as they were still in the process of manufacturing my lower arms when I decided I'd like to order some more parts. I asked them to throw the roll center adjusters in the box when they shipped my lower arms in order to save a little bit of cash, and here was their response; Assuming this had meant they'd been shipped before the 12th of April, I was a little curious as to why, in just about May now - I still hadn't seen my parts. I fired off a brief inquiry for a tracking number, just to make sure things were still on track, and this was the response I received; I haven't responded just yet, as I'd like to revise my words before I start poking around. But, seriously - what the fuck?
  2. Took the suspension out for the millionth time this evening, and hopefully for one of the last. Had to take it out in anticipation for the T3 arms that are due in shortly. Out they come... Best tool in the world. Blown apart on a table again, hah.
  3. That's the best part about it. Here's a couple photos from last nights little adventure. That's me in the R32, followed by the Honda and Cefi;
  4. The ricer within screamed at me to buy that bottle. My old man's going to set me up with some solenoids so I can purge it from the rain gutter. I'm giddy just thinking about it, haha. Thanks a lot, man! I've said it before, but being able to learn on a car like the Z makes things a lot 'easier' I guess. There's nothing complicated about them, and making things work has been relatively straight forward. Thank-you, regardless. :)
  5. Figured I could put this to good use. You can call me Brian O'Connor...
  6. Rotaries and ragtops - too fuckin' good!
  7. Once again - thanks everybody! Small update as the car was mostly neglected this week. I'll try and put more in to it this week - getting ready to buy a shit load of parts again. :) Used 1/2" foam between it all as Mission had suggested.
  8. Proper! Those should fit great - roughly the same size as my Watanabe's !
  9. What sizes are you having built?

    My S30

Makes me wish mine was stock body still. :(
  11. Thank-you! Some flat stock similar to what I made the brackets out of should do the trick.
  12. Cheers. Thanks, man. That photo of your Z parked bumperless at the gas station was motivation for completion.
  13. Looks like the isolators will go in for sure then, haha. Thanks for the heads up. Thanks, dude! Haha, I'd prefer to have a little less stretch - but I think it looks pretty modest with the 50 walls.
  14. If I could have found a dual core with the right dimensions, I probably would have just run one of those. If this thing doesn't stand up - though, I think it will - I'll just have a rad made to my specific dimensions. We'll see, though!
  15. That ended up rather tidy, Mission. I dig the latch, also - I'd like to find one just like that. I get what you're saying, but that's also why I braced the rear floor pan as I did. Both my rear towers will be tied together from my harness bar as well as the cage, so I can't imagine it could ever flex it enough to start breaking those tabs. I had intended to cut up an old bushing to use as an isolator between the tank tabs and the mounting brackets, similar to the way they do on radiators, just to be safe. It's simply in there as a test fit for the lines, it'll be in and out plenty more times with better hardware for the final install. Haha, there's nothing crazy goin' on - grab a welder and an angle grinder and you could do the same, I'm sure!
  16. It's still the same car, I swear! And, this car is going to be 100% street driven - I'm in it for the girls, man! I feel like that's on the same level as telling somebody their epidermis is showing. Thanks, pal!
  17. It was a little more playful and modest. I sorta liked it, haha.
  18. Tacked them up in place, and hung the cell for the first time. I can FINALLY run lines for good.
  19. Finished the bracing, although, not the same as I had originally planned. You can see from the penetration through the floor, that I just ran it front to back on either side of the cell. Begun making hangers for the cell to bolt to. Not bad for eye-balling it, right?
  20. It will forever be a royal piece of doo-doo in my eyes. I kinda like it, though. :) *Edit: I will heed your advice, however.*
  21. Test fit... Drilled some holes to tack it from up up, then followed with beads in segments underneath. Still have to miter a couple more pieces, and finish the braces like this underneath. Hoping to have fueling done this weekend. Neat, huh?
  22. Hole saws are scary. All lined up! Time for some bracing.
  23. Thank-you! It's not like I do anything special for a living, haha. I try and be diligent with my savings, and if I'm in to something bad enough, then I'll make the money work for me somehow.
