  1. List of parts I wtb posted in the classifieds. Heater blower resister or part number Done antenna Jack bar Found Battery hold down Done washer pump Fixed rear side marker clock. later 1980 style dash Have not installed drivers lower door hinge 2dr or just the spring. Found. Door inner frame is bent.
  2. The rear defroster didn't work so I found that the fuse was bad then I took the switch apart cause it was rough and crunchy to operate. I just took some sand paper to the contact and a small dab of lube. It rocks back and forth like new now and the defroster works.
  3. The spring is missing out of the lower driver door hinge. It was in a accident at some point on the drivers side. I hope the door isn't tweeked. The maco receipt says 2008. I got all the receipts back to 1990.
  4. Thanks Zilla Probably not but I haven't looked under the trunk mat yet.
  5. The first thing I did was fix the transmission leak coming from the 2 metal lines rubbing together to the point of a hole being formed. I then proceeded to over fill the tranny then having to suck some back out. The transmission was only shifting when the pedal was floored 3rd gear hitting around 43mph. There was a vacuum leak at the manifold hose. I thought it may have been the modulator from reading the Datsun1200 site but tried the vacuum line first. Now it shifts like butter.
  6. The trunk has 2 small minor leaks that should be easy to fix. I'm missing the jack bar I think and need a drivers side rear side marker. A small bit of rust here.
  7. This was a dealer installed accessory from what I've seen in the accessory catalog. I'd like to get it re-chromed. I didn't like the emblem at first but if not many have then I got to keep it.
  8. I picked this up last week and got a great deal. Thanks Christina. :D It's all original with 168,xxx miles. I put in a ad in the classifieds for some smalls but zero responses. Hopefully after a few of you read this I might get a few of you to point me towards some parts. More importantly I need to get it running right.
  9. I was just talking about your car yesterday wondering if you ever sold it.
  10. Still looking for a rear banjo bolt for a 521

    Fenders

They are the same shape. I cut a square in a 69 fender to put a rectangle red side marker in my 71 and you'd never know the difference.
  12. What parts are you looking for?
  13. Very nice truck for a good price. I have parcel/package tray thats in better shape if your interested to buy.
  14. Welcome. The seat turned out very nice. Can you tell us what style/color material was used and how much it cost? I stopped by a upolstry shop recently for a quote on my seat and it was in the $300 range but the light green material I want wasn't anything he could get.
  15. Replies awesome. The main problem is I see no factory holes for the j hook bolts. I'll get some pics this weekend since I'll be in there anyway replacing the volt reg. 15.8 volts is not good. Thats probably why the battery area is so rusty from the battery over charging.
  16. I need to come up with something cause the bungee just isn't cutting it. It doesn't look like I can just use a generic hold down so if I can see how it's supposed to be done I can make something work.
  17. There are 2 different horn button setups on the 521. Both look the same from the outside but the parts inside are different including the big spring. One of the big springs has more coils and wont compress enough to get the horn bar back on.
  18. I just love these things. Engine bay and interior pics requested. B)
  19. Why is this upside down? I only see 2 others in this thread that are like this. Being 2 hole on the bottom you can't really hang this on the front bumper. So is this style for the rear or a truck bumper?
  20. I work right down the street. Looks like I'll be telling the boss I'm taking a extra long lunch break.
