  1. I'm trying to mount them right now. DONE!!
  2. Gas door or gas cap? If you want just a after market cap watch on ebay for a stant g-764. On a good day you can buy one for $20.
  3. I bought some louvers for it. Mounting them looks like a project. The factory screws on the bottom don't come out far enough to mount in the body so I assume there were receiving spacer/cups that came up from the deck lid. They are the plastic louvers not metal. I still think they look cool.
  4. I also replaced the voltage regulator so now it reads 14.17 volts instead of close to 16 volts.
  5. The left tail light was melted on the bottom so I replaced it. Strange the bulb sockets were fine.
  6. So I got a few things done on the b210 this weekend. Nothing special but since I never see the car cause our daughter is always out with it I took the opportunity to play with it a little and take it to work a couple days seeing she's out of town. I repainted the front bumper and grill.
  7. Great score. Lots of meat on the head still. It's grey green 546 also known as seafoam green.
  8. The truck dying doing 60 is going to be your biggest clue. Generally this will not be a tune problem. You can drive with points not opening and it will back fire. You can drive with a fouled plug and still drive it. Original coils almost never go out, maybe your old one is still around? I had one of the arms of my points burn completely off going down the freeway once. I see this is not your problem. My blue 521 sometimes dies going down the freeway but starts right back up so I can't trouble shoot it. I think I loose all power when it happens as my dummy lights dont come on when it happens but come back on before I can get out of the truck most of the time. Again I see this is not your problem. Check plug number 4 and 3 for fouling. I had a engine that would foul new plugs after a couple hundred miles. Ended up getting a anti plug fouler for cylinder #4. If it was running I'd say put a timing light on it to see if all 4 are firing but you have to get it started first to do that.
  9. I found some real felt only stuff for a jaguar. One day I'll try it when I have the money. As of now I've bought from 2 different ebay sellers and just would rather use the cardboard method I'm used too. If it works for you thats great. But I'm boutsta hit up the craft stores and find some real felt I can use.
  10. Those things have never worked on any of my 521's. They make the window way to hard to roll up because they are not actually felt they are rubber with a little fuzz on them.
  11. I bought it from a guy down by you. Mad datsun or Datsun bill as some call him. I decided to have him rebuild the a15 that was in the car so now I have a spare rebuilt a14.
  12. Fixed my choke. The outer mounting ring corroded and lost it's ground.

  13. I haven't got a lot done because of medical problems but I did score a license frame. I have the original black plastic one but you can't really repaint the letters as they are thin stickers.
  14. Wtb 80 210 antenna and blower resistor

  15. I saw this truck at Pauls house in person before he passed away. Maybe I'll drive by his house and see if it's still there. One of his sons did sign up to ratsun many moons ago. I'm thinking they hung on to most of his Datsun stuff. The engine in my red 521 that I drive everyday I bought from paul but didn't get in my truck until after he passed. I only knew him for a short time but his passing shook my up pretty bad.
  16. Number 1, 2 and 3 look like this. Number 4 this.
  17. To shorten the story the carb ran great for about 1 hour probably less. I decided to put oil in it and it started missing immediately. See I put the weber on. I decided to buy another engine and clean up the bay.
  18. I'm a little behind on this thread. I have a kidney stone that's stuck at it sucks. So I went to put in a new float valve and taking off the carb was a pain cause you need to have 10 year old little girl hands to get to anything. In the end I took it all off and put a weber on it.
  19. Yeah I thought the same thing at first. Now I'm thinkin corney rare hood ornament option B) I been eye ballin this one on the bay.
  20. Give about a year and I would like to know if they crack or split apart. Of coarse a garaged vehicle would prolong this I think. Do want.
