began the cab work last night and today including giving the old bitch a bath. gutted the cab and started to cut out the rotted out floors.

Haha... Seriously now. I dont know shit about lowering trucks. I did some strolling thru the forum about lowering datsuns. And i still didnt quite get ahandle on it. I have heard of blocks and removing bump stops. To getting adj. Shocks. But i want to keep everything stock on my 521. Any body have some suggestions on the best way for a nub cake to drop a 521 to be ruffly two inches off the ground? Or a link to some ones build that i may have not looked at. Thanks.

yes the folgers can is the "clean" fuel cell.... haha. yeah i primered the "r"...and i dont know about the ply wood havent lifted it yet. but the good thing is that the engine runs!!! but yes i have lots of work to do.

oi oi. ts diesel. i finally managed to get me a datsun. wanted a 510 but got a 521 instead. been trollin thru this forum for a few months readin and learnin. i found this 521 in woodinville wa. its been sittin for ten years in some dudes property and he just wanted it gone. got it towed to my shop and tinkered cleaned out the cab and pulled the seat to see how bad the floor was. rusted thru on both sides. got the engine running but i need to fix some vaccum leaks and clean out the fuel tank. i gots a bit of works ahead of me. but here it is. for now im just going to fix it up so it road legal and use it for my daily. and some day put something with twin turbos under the hood.

i personally dont care if it is true or not. im a full on believer. and take this particular topic seriously. even tho people crack jokes. if it does happen then so be it. if it doesnt then think of it as another chance to double check that you and God are straight and hope that there is still beer in his heavenly fridge for you when it does happen.

so.... due to the lack of work to keep the business running. im sellin off certain peices of equipment and tools to help pay rent on my shop. i got welding machines, generator/welder machines. job site generators. diesel engines with marine set ups. benches. shelves. bottles. im going to take pictures of everything that is currently up for sale. and continue to post more items as i go. ill have pictures up tomorrow. i have been using my phone for viewing ratsun. thanks....
