Its been months that my webers linkage gets stuck! And its driving me crazy! I was looking for a used weber to build a good one out of the two but I cant find one. So here is the story. Weber 32/36 electric choke. It idles at 850 and when i drive her for 10 minutes the primary gets stuck open and then it idles at 2000 rpm. It starts to jerk around and bog at high rpms and my MPG suffers greatly. I pull over and I press the linkage with my finger down. I have to force the linkage down, but once it sits. The pressure goes away and the linkage feels smooth again! I drive it for 10 more minutes and it gets stuck again... Over and over again I have to do this... F'n annoying... Can any one help?

I personally never have taken my bumpers to get re-chromed since buying a new one will cost less if you have connections. The only place I have seen chrome being worked on will be: Chrome nickle plating @ 2800 E Martin Luther King Jr Lynwood, CA 90262. I have seen them work on old Chevy parts. So I guess they might be good? Btw: My connections for new parts has been terminated. If you really need some new parts. Befriend a body shop guy. I have an address where you can get new parts off Bandiny from the 710. But you need to have some sort of license to buy parts of them...

You live in Compton and there are tons of places were you can take it to go fix. But it will cost the same for a new non oem one...

I give them a C+. They came complete but with out wires. The housing looked like it was going to leak like some one mentioned before. So I just took of the lenses when I noticed that the amber part was not from the lens! It was a plastic addition that was glued on! So you can say I too have clear lights and the euro lenses. So in conclusion they are ok. If your tired of looking for used OEM at the yards or for NOS. These are cheap and will do the work just fine with some adjustments.
