I'm almost positive the 260 have a different bellhousing bolt pattern and starter position than later ( 65+) 289/302.. Because of this you will have a VERY hard time finding any bellhousings or adapters or cheap parts for it.. Or parts in general really ,, If i was using a windsor i wouldn't use a 260 unless i was installing it in pre 64 Ford that only needed an engine. .

Yeah you can go in and out at will ( we go out to eat and gather supplies at least 2 twice every day) but you will have to pay for each different day you're there. . . Anyone can just drive inside the gate and pull up to the little table and the people there will more than help you out. Many prefer to preregister because those guys caravan a hell of a long ways camp for 2 nights have swap meet spots and usually enter the car show,, ( wow that sounds like alot when you type it out) , so prepaying for all that, is easier to do from home 3-4 months early than when they get there at the gate. Just show up .
