  1. You don't have to PM a mod to add a date to the calendar you just have to do it..
  2. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/20432-disc-brake-installed-on-a-drum-brake-truck/
  3. It was kinda like when you are at your house, sitting around playing where's Waldo ,, and realise your naked, standing on top of the roof of the zebra exhibit at the zoo.
  4. I watched Some like it hot , again as it was on PBS last night,, that movie cracks me up every time i see it. Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis FTW! And the dude at the end "nobody's perfect"
  5. That and the Mango salsa and a pan of that chicken alfredo stuff i had in my cart.
  6. Yeah today was almost perfect. Then i went to Costco to pick up my prescriptions and $189. dollars later i realized that this was the first script since the first of the year,, so this years deductible is in full effect. but then went outside and the perfect weather, made me happy again. :)

  10. I used to have a buncha that stuff then i came to my senses. Only things i have left are a a 400 in my 47 sedan and a few heads i trip over when i'm all the way in the far end of the garage...

  12. In a perfect world,, your supposed to have a butterfly that spins in the counter clockwise direction,,, but i go with what i got as i'm not made of money. here's mine rotating in a clockwise direction.
  13. Yes,, what WAYno said ,,, as i added more to my earlier response showing mine is almost in the right spot ..
  14. Wanted to add that my carb didn't have nut on linkage to bolt on bracket, so i welded my bracket straight to the carb linkage, in so doing i was able to put bracket where the rod was , but i had forgotten that part. ((EDIT)) before you cut I went back and checked out my build and it looks like my linkage was in the up and down position when done. almost like yours needs to be to slip into holes. Is your gas pedal sitting on the floor?? Picture taken from this page http://community.ratsun.net/topic/30398-on-advice-from-counsel-name-withheld-till-further-notice/page-2
  15. Oh i think i see,, can ya weld ?? get a extra linkage arm (long part) from the Keeper ,, cut one end off then rotate to where you want then tack, pull out and finish weld. Oooor if no welder at car,, match up and use felt marker and weld at the Keepers when you go over. It don't have to be perfectly straight just in the right location,, rotation wise. I would just risk it and use the one you got,, no matter if it takes 2 tries there is very little risk of messing it up permanantly. ?
  16. Mine rotates backwards just move your arms around ,, it will do it ,, you just have to move the rod to over the linkage. Been running it like this for 3 years because i used a 5200 carb as it was all i had. MINE taken a minute ago couple more to show other than that it's the same. Is that what you ment??
  17. Yeah but in Elmers defense, Kenturky is at least 3 or 4 months behind Pacific standard time.

  20. Maybe he ment to write Ubber Pecker for all the nasty cougars to see,, it's like when you go in for a Chinese tattoo saying "dragon master" and the guy writes " masterbaiter" instead.
  21. Not really vintage but here's member FAT510 with my ole 1980 720 behind him. 3" lifted 2 wheel drive,, that thing drove the tumwater-Seattle commute for many years.
