  2. Strangely those gifs are a few years old,, so even though they were the "best" you guys could do,, they weren't as up to date as the gifs now available. But you guys tried as hard as you could ,, so you can be proud about that..
  3. To late,,,,,,,,,, i already washed the Toyotas..
  4. Well the statements that stick out the most for me are,, I lived in a community where Alaska crabbers and logging was king,, so i wasn't surrounded by poor fucks in high school that blamed their plight on the president . And the second thing is Cragar super trick wheels are not shiney,, and the third is the "Bandit" trans amm ran stock wheels. i don't watch the streets of San Fart-cisco as i am a ADAM-12 guy and if YOU watched that and took note what years each episode was filmed in ,, you would see at least 70% of autos that were within 4 years of being brand new.. Beeecause ,, as with any high dollar purchase ( unlike a set of wheels that we are actually talking about) they were purchased with the intent of driving them for at least 5-6 years before trading them in.. THat and they can't film the future ,, so that kinda rules out having next years models on any TV show. YOUR wheels were the hot new thing in the 60s ,, so no matter how far you drag the topic off subject... Your wheels are not "period" correct for your truck and you know it. College Boi
  5. I voted no in Washington for the exact reasons IZZO brings up... But i have no problem with telling my teenage boys why it should be legalized ,, for reasons precisely pointed to by Nismo Dr. :) Marijuana has never really been my thing,, but i have worked around others that smoked and were very productive, and creative every day. My physical apperance would lead one to guess at first glance otherwise,, so i figure if i'm forced to give up my blood on the side of the road,, as it will come out clean, for even alcohol,, i figure i will be suing the state eventually.
  6. I believe he's talking about building a roll cage around the radiator so when he runs into stuff the next 2 times,, his radiator won't get bent. Like this but ,,, these have a ton more room to fit them behind bumper material.
  7. OK , i call BS ,, you name one guy that has ever,,, EVER, in the history of man, looking at a womens boobs,,,, that made a frowny face.
  8. Weeeell , aren't you an afficionado of shit you never experienced.. Having actually been alive and in my first year of high school in 1980 i can assure you with great confidence ,,, we ran slot mags on everything. I really hate bringing this up as a real connoisseur such as yourself would know Cragar super trick style wheels were the "brand new" wheels in the early 70s,,, ( what year is your truck again?) ,,,,,,,,,,, so ipso facto YOU are running wheels of the wrong era ,,, but you probably knew that already,, being a wheel historian and all. College boi
  9. Wayno: it went easy. sometimes things just give up. sometimes. Yes ,,, and no ,, i don't believe he did. On another subject though, you do know we are indoctrinating him ( with techniques perfected by the SS ) into somehow shaming you into getting your aaass to Canby.. Zero hour ,,, turkey day
  10. But Wayno do you rev up to at least 4500 and drop the clutch to take off? The output bushing had no discoloration at all insde or out.. There looked to be no metal transferance between the yolk and bushing (that would hace surely been the case if it had gotten hot enough to seize ) and the bushing slid feely up and down yolk,, after we pulled it out ,, the casing around bushing wasn't in one piece though. It was all there but the cracks were enough to pull bushing out easily with FATs fingers. My theory is that ,,, whatever caused the bushing to back out the first time as those don't jusyt back out for no reason( internal vibration,, wobble from bad bearing ,whatever ) was what eventually caused the extremely sudden gear removal process to happen.. That and getting 3 gear rubber out front of my house, twice,,, did i mention we have chip-seal out there?? :poke:  No worries,, members here in the South Sound aren't always for themselves and we will supply almost anything you need to get that hoooopty back on the street. Heads up move forward and all the shit. Because Datsun :)

And,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the other Dave that isn't going to be driving a Datsun ............ and of course those Daves that were brought up earlier , cuz that would be weird.

I think ^_^ The clutch disc i have tried on the junk out back will fit a 70 4speed all the way up to at least a D21 Ka transmission.
