Im talking about the way the current administration is running the show in Canada. It's just plain crazy. America is falling apart right now because of the way its being ran, Canada just seems to be a few steps ahead of us. The Canadian I respect the most over most Americans says it best. I have a feeling you probably don't like this guy but. I agree with 99.9% of everything I've ever heard him say.

I might be alone on this but to be honest, I've always have had respect for Putin and Russia. I've always admired how Putin carries himself in public and he's not a stupid man (especially compared to the rift raff we've had in office in the last 20 years). Yeah Russia/Putin have some crazy ideas but they have many more good attributes than bad. I also like the fact that they're sticking to their guns about they're believes against all the woke/LGBTQ bullshit that is plaguing western countries. Yeah they don't have true freedom of speech or total freedom of religion. But seriously who really has freedom of speech in the west any more in 2024. And I see things going towards getting rid of freedom of religion in the our country as well. Canada and Australia are communist countries now and our gov is slowly prepping Americans to join them. You all have heard the "boiling frog syndrome" metaphor. The west is in the communist boiling pot and the governments & powers have been turning on the heat for years. During covid they got real brave and turned up the heat significantly more than usual.

As far as I know the turn signals usually have a fuse not a relay. Have you checked the fuses? Make sure none of the turn signal bulbs are burned. Check front and rear. Replace them if they're bad. If fuses and bulbs are good. Check the turn signal flasher. Not sure about the 620s but most cars have a turn signal flasher under the dash on the driver's side. It's a small metal cylinder with 2 prongs on one side. They look like the one in the link below(this link is not the one for your car). If this flasher goes out, your hazards and turn signals won't work. Use a test light and see if there is power going to this flasher. Turn the key to the on position, switch the turn signal on, and touch each prong to see if there's power. If there's power reaching the flasher and nothing happens it might be bad. I used the regular STP 80W-90 conventional oil. Had a bad experience with full synthetic engine oil before so I stay away from fully synthetic anything like the plague. I'll wash it and double check to see where it's coming from. Thanks

Replaced the passenger side diff oil seal and then went to start the drivers side but this time I actually examined the area better. It doesn't seem to be leaking from the oil seal. Its completely dry around the seal and also on the inside of the side flange that rests on the oil seal (Picture Below). It looks like the gear oil is flowing from behind the star shaped plate that the flange bolts on to (Picture with green arrow). For anyone who has taken these apart, where is this leak coming from? I'm looking at the parts diagram and it looks like theirs an o-ring inside the diff (part# 38343-21000 on diagram below) but the picture that's shown on Nissan Parts Deal. Looks to be the same as the outer Seal (part 38342-21001). Is this correct? Is there another seal inside the Diff that looks exactly like the outer one? Something is definitely off with the diff tho. The Driver side flange has some side to side play even with the bolt being torqued down. If you grab the flange you can move it side to side. Could the reason for the movement be because the inner seal is damaged? Or is it something else. Also speaking of gear oil leaks. I found the tranny leak. It's coming from sensor on the side of the tranny. (pictured below). On a side note. I have multiple technical threads in the 720 discussion section. Should I start a project datto thread and ask all the questions I have in that thread or are those threads just for posting progress on projects? Their is no such thing as a cheap turbo set up. At least not a half way decent turbo setup done right. And I'm not just talking about the insane cost of converting an NA vehicle to turbo. Just owning and maintaining a boosted car can get expensive. You're adding another layer of really expensive parts that can and will go bad.

She went hysterical and did everything they asked. Once she sent the money and hung up. She got a hold of her sister who said she was ok and that nothing had happened. You want to talk about the destruction of America.. I think AI is going to be a key factor.

What are the odds of that on a 40 year old truck?

Was adjusting the parking brake cable and found that my passenger side cable is not disengaging the shoes after releasing the parking brake. The boot on the end of the cable is cracked in two so when you engage the parking brake the cable folds at the crack. When you disengage the brake the cable stays folded and doesn't push back on the lever to release the shoes. Could this be a reason for the locking up? Maybe. I haven't really driven it since I replaced the rear brakes and cylinders. So don't know if that fixed the problem yet. I started replacing the diff oil seals right after the brake job. I've been looking on the web for a new replacement cable with no luck. I'm pretty sure a week ago when I first looked it up, rockauto had one in stock. Now they don't. I might have to buy used, if anybody's selling one? I'll post a wanted ad in the classifieds section as well.

Ooh I forgot to mention. I carry one of these battery jump starters/power banks in my daily driver. If you're going to be driving in the backcountry solo. I would highly recommend one of these. It might not help you if you're battery is completely dead. But if you're still getting a clicking sound when you turn the key this will start your car right up in my experience. What color is 214? I actually really like the current color. I would also vote to keep the 2 tone. The 2 tone paint job might be one of the reasons the car gets so much attention IMO. if it were me I might have chose a different color for the top. Maybe a lighter shade of silver? Hard to say? The current colors are a cool combination too. If those stripes are door panel protectors I also vote to keep them. My honda has rubber ones. A few times, I've had people smash their doors against mine hard enough to where my car rocks back and forth while I'm sitting in my car. Get yourself a small toolbox and fill it with a few basic tools. Screw drivers (flathead and philips), Dykes, pliers, a few wrenches 10mm 12mm 14mm, crescent wrench, battery terminal cleaning brush, test light, and some assorted fuses, and toss it behind the seat. Make sure you have a properly inflated spare tire, the tool to drop the spare tire, a lug nut wrench, and jack. Carry jumper cables. I also keep a small rag tucked away somwhere in the engine compartment for the occasional oil level checks. You can take it up a notch and carry a small container of Dot3 brake fluid, quart of engine oil, and quart of ATF to fill power steering. You can take it up even another notch and carry a basic door lock-out kit. I carry one in my daily driver. I try and stop to help people who are broke down on the side of the road when ever possible. I've helped about 6 people unlock their doors when they lock their keys inside with my kit. All this should get you out of most pickles on the road. Other than that when in an older car, or any car for that matter. You need to keep your eyes, nose, and ears on high alert. Listening for new noises and smelling for things like coolant leaks. Get in the habit of checking your gauges regularly (coolant temp, fuel, and oil pressure). Check your rpm gauge every once in a while during idle and while driving for any changes from the norm. Most of your major components will give you small warning signs that they're about to go out. If you keep an eye out for these signs you can be proactive and replace parts before they leave you stranded. The Alternator thats about to die might start making sounds from the bearings going bad. There might be a drop in the charging volts its putting out. If you turn your key to start the truck and it starts 99% of time. But every once in a while you turn the key and nothing happens. Your starter might be on its way out. Some vehicles have water pumps with little holes on them specifically to warn you that it's about to go out. If you start seeing coolant start to trickle out the hole. It's a sign your water pump is about to go out (Not sure about the 720 water pumps?) Aside from that always keep an eye on your driveway where you park your truck. If you see any kind of fluids on the ground. Investigate and fix. Familiarize yourself with the look and smell of engine oil, gear oil, ATF fluid, and coolant.

To some, being an antivaxxer is tin foil hat to others believing that there are thousands of people who were injured by the vaccine is also tin foil hat. I would start with the basics. Replace all fuel hoses & fuel Filter, replace all brake hoses, change gear oil (transfer, tranny, both diffs), Engine Oil Change, replace Air Filter. Check wheel cylinders and replace if necessary. Make sure all lights are in good working order. Check windshield wipers are also working. Check Coolant, fill or replace if necessary. Check Spark plugs & spark plug wires replace if necessary. Check distributor cap and rotor (one of the terminals on my distributor cap disintegrated into powder when I disconnected a spark plug wire). I would replace all accessory belts. Go over all the vacuum lines and replace the cracked/brittle ones. Check tires to make sure they're not sun baked and cracked.
