Mexico is big on Datsun parts, there is one place in Aguas Caliente that I know sells a ton of re-manned Datsun parts. The 510 was actually one of the most common taxi cabs next to the Bocho(Bug) Tsuru(Sentra).

The metal on those headers are pretty thin too, so it'll resonate bad and be pretty damn loud.... atleast mine was.

I ran a hooker comp header on my truck, ended up cutting it into pieces when i replaced it with an early L16 exhaust manifold. I've got like a two finger gap in the front (205/55/15) and couldn't go any lower becuase of the header..... so i chopped it up.. What you may have is a header for a 510 or a 720 4x4, the headers for 620s have to "hug" the block to clear the torsion.

I run straight pipe to A-Spec Blastpipes, sounds amazing... but before that i ran a Cherry Bomb "Turbo" muffler, the oval type with a dumped tip mid-way through the bed.... that sounded pretty damn decent too.

Just run a small spacer to run those other wheels, looks like 3-5MM should do. Red Blazer wheels 195/50/15s, Baby Moon caps and White Walls on that 521 would look UHMAYZING. ..... or...... I may be able to aid in importing some of those crazy Japanese wheels.... or.... build a custom set of wheels? :)

Cool, will do.... It has plenty of oil pressure, yanked VC off to make sure ticking was from valvetrain and not the timing chain and lowe and behold oil splooged everywhere.

Nope, the cam looks like it was barely even used.

My brother and I swapped out the head on my L20B for a A87, everything went smooth but the engine has a bit of a tick that speeds up as the revs go up, the bottom-end was fine so we excluded anything wrong with that... rod knock ect... The valve lash was off so i Redid it to specs (cold) the tick is not as loud but it still very noticable. It does have an aftermarket cam, specs are only slightly higher than a stock L20B cam. Is it normal for cammed motors to tick, and is it safe to run it like that? It runs well, but the tick is kinda annoying... Sounds like a Toyota.

I think any boss hub from any 70s datsun works. 240z 510 ect.... You can even use the hub from a 720 ST which has a nardi bolt pattern and came on all 720 ST
