  2. If you wanted something a little easier to use and didn't want to go the route of wiring a new electric, you could always get a water choke ;)
  3. Sounds like it could be. Not to my knowledge :( Although, you could always opt for an after market and upgrade it. The Weber 32/36 DGV is a good carb, but you will need an adapter and you'll need to fab a throttle cable bracket and a few other small things.
  4. Have you checked the brake booster for leaking diaphragm causing a vac leak? BTW, Nice Z :) Looks immaculate!
  5. I wouldn't say so. I myself don't even know much about transmission internals and would be interested in learning whats involved in a rebuild. Also, is your tranny a manual or auto? Might help determine what parts are replace in a rebuild ;)

  7. I need an air cleaner and box for a 32/36 DGV. I know they are super cheap, but I figure maybe someone has one used they wanna get rid of for a few bucks less. Don't need it for a week or so because I don't have the money right now.

Use the B110 rails with the B210 seats Leaf spring parts (except main leaf) A12 models -- entire 56-series Transmission Rear brake shoes & drums Radiator (smaller models are strict interchange, larger ones fit with simple bracket extensions) Wheels, 12" as-is, 13" with tire change Tires (13" tires require corresponding 13" wheels)Front Seat belts are a three-point with retractor that bolts to the B-pillar. Just like B110 seat belts. The advantage is they are a superior single-belt design without a separate shoulder belt.   10. The GX was like a higher performing car over the standard. It had stiffer valve springs with are sought after by guys that want forced induction. The GX head is typically used in race applications. What year is the B210? North American models were fitted *only* with the high-line engines, namely the A13 for 1974, and the A14 for 1975-1978. USA GX models use the single-carb engine (A14S). Some JDM GX models used the A12S or A14S single carb engine, and some used twin-carb engines(A12T or A14T). Transmission A12 and A13 models were fitted with the 56-Series transmission, a four speed. You'll find everyone here loves pics, so don't be afraid to share plenty from any of your cars or adventures ;) If you'll look at the statuses, you'll notice that this forum is full of shenanigans and stupid fun, but still provides lots of beneficial information. I'm sure you'll love this place, as do I after I got my 210 and joined.
  13. Mistakes are mistakes. lol fuckit. Electric is good. Although, I'm not sure how they are wired up so if your car didn't use a manual choke,you may have to wire in a relay to a 12 volt source.

  17. I use my sand blaster as a soda blaster, so why not? lol You might need a bigger pickup hose though.

Okay, in that case you want to do this as simply as possible Buying a new replacement is a good choice, but you have to consider what type of choke your car uses and buy a carb that uses the same choke type unless you want to rewire. You may want to ask the ebay seller what kind of choke it is ;) So what I'm understanding is that you have a fair amount of automotive knowledge, just not with carb'd engines?
  23. It's fairly simple. You basically remove the choke breaker and electronic choke pieces and install a cable with a spring onto the choke flap. Either that or you could replace the choke breaker (it leaks vacuum) and find a few small pieces and rebuild the electric choke. Most of the pieces are on it still.
