I forgot who makes our wires at AZ, but if you don't remove them a lot then the crimp holds well. never seen a set fail now BOSCH is on a whole other lever... Fucking hate there wires. Went to pull my wire in the AZ parking lot to pull my plug and look at it before I bought new ones, ripped the wire right off... bought a $34 set of 8mm Accel and super satisfied.

Like the title said, I'm selling my A-series header that I picked up. Bought it from a guy off here, but never installed it. I was told it needed some small mods to the stock mani to fit, but haven't confirmed since i never installed it. It's clearly been used, and has some small dents on it, but I'm just asking for what i payed for it, since A headers seem like they're hard to come by. $75 shipped OBO. It will probably be a day or 2 after receiving payment before it's shipped, since I'm working through the post offices hours of operation the next few days. Oics will be poasted tomorrow.

Ever since I put on my MSD box with coil and 8mm accel wires, I've been curious about how it would run with iridium The fuckin Platinum plugs sound like a TAZER when you ground it and fire it! MSD really makes a huge difference. Maybe with the new LZ20 when It's installed, I'll put Iridiums i it, but the A-series burns so much oil, it seems dumb to waste the money on it. All that extra spark does make a huge difference on how it runs and keeps the plugs nice and clean.

Fawk yeah We do end up getting a lot of threads about "tire size", "rim identification" and all. We tell the noobz to search, because a lot of the info has already been posted somewhere. It would be great to be able to open a section and browse through it.

So I just got back an hour ago from dropping monkeygirl at home after she helped me hone the block on my new Z20 I picked up. On the way back, I'm cruising in traffic behind a pick-up that was going 5 under (the speed limit was 45.) I was a car length away and had a minivan on my right, so I had nowhere to go. Out of nowhere comes this Space Shuttle Atlantis with half the sun lighting up my rear view mirror with his gay cheap HID's. He was obviously in a hurry and being a dick, so I decided to get some LULZ out of this asshole and slow down a little more. He starts flashing his highbeams and fog lights, which are all bright ass HID's, so I flipped my mirror down and laughed trying to imagine how irate and pissed he must be behind my slow turtle of a Datsun. Maybe I shoulda revved the engine and smoked this asshole up? I mean it is 4/20 after all :rofl: The driver in the minivan seemed like a nice guy, and eventually sped up and passed the truck so that the kid could get by. INSTANT lane change from the douche and an epic ricer flyby revealed that it was a newer Acura TL. I chuckled and decided I would change lanes and give him a taste of his own medicine, but when I looked in my rear view, the outline of a Cobb County (C.ount O.n B.eing B.usted) cop shoots by with his lights off and comes up behind this guy who had to be going about 70. I was sooooooooo happy because I recognized the cop as one I ran a check engine light for in his personal car the other night at work and complimented me on my car. He gave me a thumbs up as he drove by. :D The guy clearly didn't see who was following him and must have thought it was me, because he sped at the next intersection and took a right at about 40 MPH with no signals, and his high beams still on. Blue lights and brake lights and I busted out laughing yelling GET EM PIGGIE!! I drove by real slow with my thumbs up laughing hard as hell. Acura = 0 Datsun = 1

Get pics kid, they would sure help us identify the part and make sure you're getting what you need.

I NEVER let anyone drive my car. Unless it's my dad, of course. People just neglect cars that aren't theres. Sorry for the loss man :( Hopefully she rides again.

That's the plan :) I wanna get the bottom end sorted out first, then decide on valvetrain. I wanna build it right. It's my first OHC engine build.

For right now, just clean it up. In the near future, I'm looking at converting it to an L head and making an LZ20B. U67 head with my Weber would wake it up, but I think I want more. Not sure, but I'll be updating this a lot more soon.

Sorry to hear about your loss man. Pretty sure I heard something about that on the news recently, just not too much in detail. All you can do is keep his memory close, and remember the good times. I watched a friend go down a similar way a few years back, still at a young age. It's not easy to bear with, but just know you did what you can.

I use Castrol GTX or Valvoline. 20W50 since it burns tons of oil. Helps out a bit.

It was just coincidence. lol His shop is right behind my Zone, and he shops there. You probably saw me coming from work or a parts run. :rofl: I WISH!! lol I don't know what the plans are for the engine right now, but I'm just gonna hone it, clean it, paint it, and then decided.

Okay, you guys were right, they are dished. I never got a good look before, but they are definitly dished. I'll still measure the rods and post oics of internals, but I'm sure it's not the long rod. More info coming up in a few hours. I may be selling all the Z20E EFI stuff soon. If you're interested I'll PM you when I decide.

Not at the moment, I'll get one tomorrow, but it's DEFINITELY flat top. The picture makes the valve relief's look a little deeper, but I'll take one out tomorrow after work when I hone the cylinders and get you a better picture. I thought it seemed a little wide. I know it was on the engine though. The guy said when he bought his 210 it was already Z20 swapped, so maybe theres some weird mod? I gotta go pick up the head tomorrow, so I don't have it right now. Is this picture any better? I got it from my cell earlier in the day.
