  1. Sucks man! Some people are just lazy fuckers. I wish they'de get off their ass and work for their money and earn it on their own, instead of stealing money from someone that works for it. I had an issue with an ATM in Indiana not give me money at a gas station a few years back. Wasn't much, but the people at the counter couldn't do anything, so I went to my bank when I got home and filed a fraud and gave them all the info the ATM spitted up, and it was all credited to my account same day. What bank do you have?
  2. Even if it mentions GL4, it's not always yellow metal safe. The Napa brand GL-5/GL-4 isn't yellow metal safe, neither is the Autozone stuff.
  3. Brool story co. Post some tittehs while you're at it!

  4. It was pretty nasty. All things considered, I was fairly impressed by the way it ran for the last 12K miles. I opened up all the passages and cleaned each jet one by one with carb cleaner and compressed air. Same with all the passages. Also tested the power valve actuator as per Datsun1200 wiki. Put it all back together and it still won't idle as smooth as it should, however it has gained a little bit more power at WOT.
  5. In my experience, ALL new Domestics (with some exceptions) are total POS's My mom had a Chevy Venture that had the engine replaced after 30,000 miles under warranty, and shortly outside of it's warranty, started leaking coolant from the upper intake manifold again (which was what the original recall was for) ECM had to be replaced because of a short in the Cam pos sensor circuit. ETC: I could go on for hours. And I love Chevys, which is sad. My dads old Contour did pretty decent as far as maintenance went, but had the transmission rebuilt once and had a reoccurring trans cooler leak. Not many complaints there. His current '08 300 Touring is by far an excellent car with no problems. It's easily once of the nicest, and smoothest cars I've ever driven.
  6. Guess it's kind of a good thing that it's a drag pack BTW, the link is for the 2011, not 2009. Maybe we should count the cup holders while we're at it. Oh yup, think the good 'ol Ford wins again.
  7. This is the part where he tells me how he REALLY feels.

  8. Guys, seriously give him some slack. He's an enthusiast. At least he's not a 16 year old kid wanting to swap an SR into his B210.
  9. This just in: the 2009 Challenger drag pack was running 9.7-10 in the 1/4 @ 140-150MPH on average with a N/A 6.1L Hemi.
  10. Times have yet to be released. Most of the hard numbers are still hiding, so the Cobra can't be called fastest yet. Irrelevant? No, the Cuda is using 40 year old technology, and running nearly the same 1/4 mile times as the brand new Cobra. I think that's completely relevant. BTW, under ten seconds is 9's. Sounds like Ford can't make up their minds.
  11. lol Chevron-ya'll... fawkin truth! Gas around here all comes out the same, maybe that's part of my poor idle is shitty gas? The carb is 100% clean now Spent an hour with some Gumout carb cleaner and my air compressor blowing out all the jets/passages. It's shiny clean inside now!
  12. The air correction jets seem correct, but I forgot to mark down the sizes of all the other jets.
  13. Nope, regular old 87 octane. Looks like shit eh? I cleaned every port, and tested the power valve actuator and it still won't idle like it should.
  14. Dirty jets were dirty. How did that thing run?

  15. lol yup, only problem I ran into was the choke stuff, but that took me about 4 minuets to find the clip and disconnect it. It was pretty sick _DSC0486[1] by metalmonkey47, on Flickr _DSC0487[1] by metalmonkey47, on Flickr

  18. Gonna go break down the Weber in a few. Are the jets easily accessible with the top section off? Haven't much looked at it yet but, does the top section come off without much anguish? Screws only and nothing else I need to worry about?
  19. 'o rry? http://www.allpar.com/cars/dodge/challenger/V10.html I do recall the Sox & Martin Hemi Cuda ran high 10's off the show room floor with slicks. Gonna find my Mopar DVD to confirm the time.
  20. No hablo amigo. Just post boobs, and we'll call it even. IBTL
  21. Feel free to continue where I'm leaving off.
