Got new equipment on the way. A 3rd vinyl cutter, this one's 36" and has contour cut. Also a hat press :D

When we returned to the pad to unload everything, it dawned on me I need new home furnishings. So once again we filled the goon until it was full. Since that day my living room's been much more comfortable.

Sweet Jenn. Can't wait to see some pics of the install. Really tough making ratsun logos that small, took some experimentating with pressure and speed settings on the cutter. Thing's not supposed to be able to cut that small, but I'm stubborn, lolz.

Yeah, the fram won't be there. Wheels will be on soon. Lolz Draynor volunteered you for a work party on my goon this weekend. Next step is to get the proper oil pan and trans xmember from Greasmonkey. I need to get the drivetrain all clean and ready to drop in. them haul the goon over on someone's trailer and drop tje train in that day. Then get crackin on re-assembling the interior, and doing the elecrical. Then driving it every single day :D

Finally got around to pulling the L18 from my parts truck. Upon inspection, this thing is SUPER clean! FlyerDan (PO) mentioned it had been rebuilt and new clutch a while back, and not driven much since. The cam, head, and rockers are waaaay clean, and the clutch does indeed look very new. I R excited! Desperately need the weather seals for ALL the doors :( Would really hook someone up with some great vinyl work if you have some decent door seals for trade...

Adam, I gotta contact the shop in regards to the black CF, and will get back to you. And I gotta get some cutting tape so I don't gotta use a knife, it'll come out cleaner that way. Here's that shift knob I did in matte orange. Probably going to put this on my dogleg.

Got bored, dug through my parts stash, pulled out a 620 gauge bezel and wrapped it in olive drab vinyl :D

Sounds cool. I put some O.D. Green vinyl on this one tonight. Looks good, but I need to find my sharper knife, or order some of that filament tape stuff so I don't have to use a knife. I can get that black carbon fiber stuff locally, I'll shoot down there soon.

Sure, if you install the drive train :D Adam, thought this might be pertinent to your build, just did one tonight in red carbon fiber. Come have some beers and wrap some random Datto parts :D

Installed some red carbon fiber vinyl on a 620 door estuchion! Looks pretty cool. Also wrapped a 4spd shift knob in matte orange, but forgot to take a pic... Will get later :D

Also there's a plastiwrap that's similar. Dries a bit more durable and uv resistant than plastidip. I've seen some pretty high-end vehicles covered in this stuff. Seriously considering using thier matte orange for my goon. They even sell scented plastiwrap, lolz.

Diamond plate gauge bezel sounds sweet. I'll look into that. Sedition, wrap cast is the material you'd use to wrap a vehicle, .

Lolz, that would totally suck to have your body at that angle for so long while you applied the wrap. Would look cool though.

News from crackerjacks world: my son can tie his shoe now, and has his first loose tooth. We just got a baby pig, and he loves popcorn. Selling ratsun decals for stupid cheap this month. Got a second vinyl cutter and another heatpress. Dreamt about my goon last night, lolz it doesn't even run in my dreams :D

I don't think that would work. The chrome vinyl won't wrap well cuz it's kinda stiff. Worth a shot I suppose.
