What size of tires do you guys have over there for 13"?

It's pretty specific because we have the same set-up except my car is NA Carbd. I'm just trying to find out what radiator he used, and if he had to cut the core supports to make it fit. The SR is super tight up front in that area so I'm just trying to see how he made it all come together. It's getting to crunch time, my tunnel is done, my header back exhaust is done, drive shaft done, now it's all the little shit. And that's one of the little shits haha

Hey, I'm trying to get ahold of Ricardo to ask him some questions about his SR20 1200. Specifically about his radiator set-up. I'm about 2 weeks from turning my key (give or take) but haven't figured out if I'm going to use my B210 rad or buy the one he used, etc..I know he had a user name here but I'm not sure what it is. All help is appreciated!

I know you've been there, I was just there in October, so this is my from October update! You have to really know where to look over there, I was in Japan for an extended period of time and stayed with my friends(Japanese) and really didn't see crap. I only started seeing stuff when I went out into the suburbs. I was in any major city you can think of as well. You're best bet is finding events through friends before you get there. Someone who speaks, reads, poops Japanese. I know they have car swapmeets, but I didn't find any. Mind you I was there visiting friends so I was really looking for parts, as I can get them anytime I want off Yahoo Auctions. If you have friends over there, just have them win the auctions off Yahoo now, so you can just take them home with you when you leave. I'm lucky because I'm in the CG and my friends in the Navy and he can just ship my personal stuff to me at regular USPS pricing. The chicks are weird, they'll stare at you but won't engauge. For the most part they like you to be silly, cute, and suttle. I had fun over there in that aspect. Only advice I have. The first couple of times I went, I just dressed in my usual skater garb, and the most recent time I went my friends asked me to bring nicer sets of clothes. Not sure what the difference was but I did. Seems everyone over there dresses to the 9's now. The other times I went there were more dressed down folks. As I'm sure you know...food, food, food. You must try Doner Kebabs over in Japan, they're fantastic! Also I always get a JR Rail Pass because if you're going all over the place it's so worth it, I don't care what anyone says. Awesome...I'll have to check in with you next time I need wheels done. There's a place that sells 13" barrels but they wouldn't sell them to me for some reason, I can't think of the name of the place. Maybe you have to have a business license or something, when I think of it I'll let you know. Also all the folks looking for 13" tires I may have a hook up soon, when it's solid I'll pass the info.

Really, because I called like 10 shops, googled a bunch, sent emails, etc...and all of them said they don't do 13" sizing. That's awesome you do 13" though.

FCR are bike carbs...google FCR SR20. I'm sure you could have them on the "A" series as well. I have OER carbs on my SR20 but will be switching to FCR carbs when and if I source an adaptor for them. Your work looks super good by the way!

13x7 +-0 WEDS Zero Speed. You may not have seen them before because only about 5 sets are known to exist on the planet. And one google pic of some and mine are the only other set I've in this condition. I'm sure there was more made, and they're are more out there, that's just what I've seen on google and lots of research. I know on Kyusho shoe's it's considered to be a super rare wheel, how rare I dunno. I have the original sizing stickers on the barrels(all 4) and al 4 barrels are stamped on the outer shell. My friend in Japan who is very much into old school Japanese motoring has never seen a pair in person. He's 42.

He can do just the outer barrels is what I meant...and it's a bit cheaper. I hope my my SSR's fit my 1200 and I don't have to get fender work. But I've got these as back up:

Araya wheels did my 13x7.5 -5 SSR mesh(if you look back at page 54). I can't put into words the amazing job they did on my wheels. All new hardware, lips are super sick, even repolished the back of my wheels. A++ work. I have had 3 sets of wheels refinished/rebarreled and these are by far the cleanest. Also, Araya is the only rebarreler that will do a 13" wheel on the planet, it's the reason I used them. Araya also does half barrel resizing as well. So if you want to save a little coin that's an option.

Do you have a website? Have you thought about making an adaptor plate for FCR's for SR20? Any updates?

I'm pretty sure the pic of that truck isn't even in the U.S. I could be wrong. Plus the license plate doesn't look like a U.S. shaped plate either...could be real or could be a scam. I'm emailed him/her asking if they meant $6K or $60K. I thought the guy in SD was reaching with his red SR20 with the longchamps, but this guy/gal is going for elastic status.

That's just a mock up...hopefully my car is going in for my tranny tunnel, full stainless exhaust, and drive shaft. After that it's child's play and about 1 month! I may be sourcing a FCR carb manifold here in the next couple of weeks, if I do I'll be selling my OER carb set-up and manifold.

Oh shnike's...okay cool, I'll check them out if things don't work out with spoolin' performance. I was recommended to them from a guy on Zilvia. We'll see. I think Luke did my headers on my SR20VE 510. They were perfect!
