It's not a hoax, it is "green" in the sense that it is not using petroleum as it's source. Instead, biodiesel is made from "renewable" materials, such as corn, grasses, and even things like the leftovers from chicken and turkey processing plants (feathers, gristle, innards, etc,) or used cooking oil. In that sense, it's green, and it's slightly cleaner burning, but it's still being burned.... Of course, any IC engine is by definition non-green, in my book, but there ya go.

wow i havent updated in a long time!!! well i have stripped interior, the king cab interior pannels, and the back wall, re did the gauges today, peinted the needles orange, cleaned it all up, leyed some purple paint down in there, i am just gune go completely take out my dash, clean out idk how many nests.... haha im sure ill find aleast one! and paint it al up, and cover the dash pad, then ill put it all back together, then put ugly seats back in till i get money for nicer ones! as for the motor, ive taker onn intake mani to clean up all the vac lines and smog junk, re painted the valve cover purple, things to do..... paint the motor so it looks good get money for carpet and seats get oil pan cut and welded to fit along with pickup tube re paint passenger side black get motr in and wired figure out how to do the headliner... any tips on this? mines perfect but its blue, and i want to just cover it with black material... completely re do the suspension with coil overs in front and rear with triangulated 4 link, find a new bed, this is shit and i refuse to put it back on so now i gota wire the tails up to bumper im sure theres more i for got but ill remember... ill try to get a camera out there tonight

can i build my lawn mower back up then and put a poer wheels body on it???? and ill even lower it so its the sam size!

i am in devils lake north dakota..... and yes that was a serious offer! haha me and a buddy built 2 lawwn mowers for a huge classic car show here in town this summer! we had mine doing 45mph, and his did about 30! and i stripped mine down, and dont plan on puttint back together, i got a speeding ticket on mine, and he got a ticket for running a stop sighn and no muffler! lol we took the wheels and brakes of my 2 extra pocket bikes, bored out the hubs and bolted on to his, we welded the diff in mine due to traction problems, then i snapped it, and cant find another....

i got a 17 hp Tecumseh and a 8 hp Tecumseh and a tranny....... come get em! lol good luck with this it'll be sweet when done! might consider a wheelie bar

OK, check this out.... I found the *entire* manual (FSM) online, and downloadable as a zip file!!!! http://www.240edge.com/manuals/s13-ka24e.html This is for all the models, not just the 240... Might want to get a copy ASAP. There's also (on the left side) links to other years/models. I got the 95 240 as well, as that's the year of the engine that I have. Spoolinitup: Cool, I found that one too but wasn't sure if it was accurate... I am gonna compare it to the one that I found and double-check all the wiring... Gonna figure this out yet!

Also, there's a "black box" under the driver's seat, 1-10 wire connector and 1-20 wire connector on it. Looks like a primitive ECU, but the orig engine is carbed, the part number on the side is A16-612 043 4y17. Has a Hitachi HD6805W IC in it. Any idea what it is? Can we get rid of it?

OK... This is gonna be a long post. As I stated before, we're swapping a KA24DE into an '85 720. The engine included the complete harness: As you can see, there's a lot of connectors, some of which we don't know what to do with. Now, we have a few questions. 1. The ECU connector: There are a few wires clipped: Black with 1 tic, 2- yellow/orange (red?) with one tic, orange with one tic, blue/white with one tic, purple/white with one two tics, green with one tic. Are they important? Is there somewhere that I can find the entire ECU wiring schematic? 2. Is this the fusebox connector from the original car, and what do we do with it, just delete it? Some of the wires go to the ECU and some go into the engine harness side, we can trace all of them but not sure what would be best: 3. Now, there are 3 connectors that we can't ID. Don't know where they go: The blue one looks like a relay connector, the output wire is red/blk with 2 tics. This is "inside" the car. The other two are "outside" the fw, the smaller one has blue/2tics, blu/wht/1tic, blu/blk/1tic, and grn/blk/2tics. The larger one has 7 wires in it: wht, grey/1tic, blk/wht/1tic, brn/1tic, blu, gry/1tic, and pink. 4. There are 5 snipped wires right outside of the fw: Are they important? I am gonna trace them back, but don't know if they are critical. 5. Finally, a weird plug with a .47uf cap from the front of the engine was in the harness as well: Colors are blk/red and blk/1tic. Blk/red is larger guage than the other one. Thanks for any and all suggestions... It's kind of confusing, and sorry for the long post.

well i got the tranny out of the truck, bolted up perfectly to ka24de, starter is bolted up, now i think im guna bring truck to the school shop and do all my wireing there, then drop this bad boy in :D also how much tranny fluid goes in here? its an 85 5sp..... it all drained out the tail shaft as we removed it :(

also i neeeed to know how power gets to the distributor.... this motor doesnt use a coil?

ow that motor looks realy clean, like as if it was jus put togethter and painted!
