Yeah I figured something like that, and I need somekind of cylinder type things to fill up the space where they are not threaded on the under side of the fender..... and maybe some rubber washers to provide some cushion :)

I know my progress is lame lately... but here a little update to hold you off untill I start making major moves... picked these mirrors up. $1.99 a piece at a thrift store.. they are harley davidson mirrors, I think they will look pretty "nuts" as fender mirrors, what do you guys think??

I had a jaguar once, even though everyone said that they are unreliable I got one anyway, figured "what do they know they have never owned one" .... well long story short it was a turd, Ive never had anything more unreliable, transmision light came on and limited the transmission from going into any other gear than third, major battery related electrical problems, bought it for 2500... sold it for 1000 just to get out from under it, and went straight to the first datsun I found on craigslist... I think jaguars are beautiful car, but never again :(
