Dry ice is available from most grocery stores but you have to ask for it.

I wouldn't think any napz intake/exhaust manifolds bolt up to the KA24DE...
Also Atma was saying that the oil pickup tube bolts onto the KA24DE block, not the oil pan. You have to cut the bottom part off the old 4x4 napz pan and weld it up to the flange of the KA24DE.

I just slapped a new weber out of the box on a fairly fresh rebuilt z24 84' 2wd 720 and it freaking hauls ass! This was in the Seattle area so basically sea level. But I am with charlie even the used webers I have used were a vast improvement. Sounds like something is wonky with your carb.

Imperial units, Fahrenheit, & daylight savings time can all eat a dump-truck of dicks!

My uncle did a conversion on a 80's Toyota over ten years ago and it turned out great, mated a forklift motor to the trans and had the battery array in the bed. There wasn't much need for 1st or 2'nd gear 😉 and it didn't have more than a 50 mile range but this was 10 years ago. With modern batteries, frequency drives and programming it shouldn't be that hard to get a nice little truck that can scoot!

Looks like you did a great job of mating the stock nap 4x4 pan to the ka pan! Do you have any pictures of the oil pickup tube? I am guessing it needed moding. I am currently trying to do the same swap in an 85' as well. Any pics of the oil pan fabbing and oil pickup would be greatly appreciated!

Fantastic truck! I am hoping to do a ka24de swap on my 4x4 also, did you make the oil pan and pickup for your swap? Would love to see pictures if you have any. Looks like your Ka was from a car, I hear the crank girdle can make it difficult to fit. What wheel setup are you using, I have 7" wide 16" dia wheels with -38 offset on mine currently and the wheels look to be similarly placed as yours.

It is no doubt a very intense film that takes a mental toll... Some funny trivia about it, Nicole Kidman was a tender 18 during filming and the crew threw her 19'th birthday party on an uninhabited island. For the scene she seduces Billy Zane, he rips her shorts off with his own strength, no costume prep was necessary. I think I might have done the same thing!

Holy shit Mike, you seriously read my mind! Just watched it again a few weeks ago for the first time in a long time. A truly great movie with a cast of 3!

Jesus, got my 2'nd pfizer shot last Saturday an around midnight I started feeling flu like symptoms when I work up to take a piss, then all Sunday I was hurting pretty bad, muscle cramps, nausea, ect. It probably did not help I had chemically abused myself Friday night! I had heard the 2'nd shot was worse so I was prepared but I didn't even notice my first shot. I think some seasonal allergies are playing into the fold also...

I would say a SLIGHTLY more altruistic one as I have never seen the collection plate pay out!

In theatrical production Master is a very common term for the lead in any field, I have been a Master stage carpenter, Master electrician, Master Sound engineer, Master rigger. We also have 'up' riggers & 'down' riggers for people high up in the grid and the people tying things off below. People have mentioned that these terms should be changed over the years but most folks just respond with: RIGGER PLEASE! 🤣

Just an fyi, the aluminum valve covers and the stamped steel ones do not use the same gasket. The aluminum ones use a flat cork gasket and the steel ones use a solid rubber shaped gasket which is vastly superior IMO.
