  1. Hrm, I'll have to look for that. I've only seen the side and top mount ones Edit: found it. typed log manifold in datsun1200 and its the first one. If he can angle the outlet down or move it forward it may work.
  2. Thought about this too. Never talked to the person that did it though.
  3. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/High-Mount-Datsun-1200-1000-Turbo-Manifold-A12-A14-A15-/191081600330?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c7d59d54a&_uhb=1 that one. I'ts a no go for me :(
  4. I looked at that one before, but when I spoke with clyons (think it's the same person at least) he wasn't sure about LHD vehicles. I know someone was talking about a top mount at one point but that;s not going to work for this turbo. Sadly GReddy too the 15g and modified it so that you can only clock it so much,. Top mount won't allow proper oil flow.
  5. That blow dryer may be a long way off, depends on how long it takes Mr. Bogg to finish my mani, get it tuned NA, then have him make me a plenum for the R1s. I also have to figure out what I'l doing for a turbo mani. It will be a log, but not sure where my outlet needs to be to clear all the vitals under the hood. I was thinking something like a ford might work. Placing the outlet toward the rear a few inches down and away from the mani itself, but that might hit the column. Here is a picture of the general shape: Edit: linked the wrong picture... That's the right one
  6. I would love to grab one of their kits, but EFI boggles my mind. I'd rater go with R1s :P
  7. I stripped a hood in my front yard using aircraft stripper. shorts, no shoes, and plenty of alcohol. I didn't need a mask since I was outside right? I think I only lost some long division skills from that process, still have enough cells to function (slightly) :P
  8. D'oh, I didn't know you'd blast them as well. I guess this would be a(nother) stupid topic started by a noob then. Is there anything you need me to do before sending them over? I'm still waiting on the spare, but hopefully they will be ready to ship out next Thursday.
  9. yea, I give that a week :P Do I need to link the extrudabody stuff again? http://www.extrudabody.com/servlet/the-135/Twin-SU-SU%27s-MGB/Detail http://www.extrudabody.com/servlet/the-225/Kit-cln--Datsun-L20B%2C-L18%2C/Detail
  10. There's always tomorrow... So Mr.Big, are you planning anything special for the carbs? Dual mikunis perhaps?
  11. Just got my "new" Keystone Dyna Lites. I'm going to strip the centers and recoat them with some other color. Just looking for a safe product to strip them and a chance to show the off :P The current coating seems to be regular old paint. However, what do you guys use for stripping powder and paint that's safe for aluminum?
  12. Just finished breaking down the new two piece wheels for the B210. Clean the old hardware or try to find new?

  13. lol, makin it rain datsun parts. Not that old rusty :poop: that's on my projects either :P
  14. Looks like oil caps, Adjustable dampening because racecar?
  15. Moree new stuffs. Got these today: Thinking of something like this for the recolor: Also, salvaged this from my old civic. Might be time to put it to good use :) GReddy 15g TD04 with custom ported elbow. Originally designed for a 1.6l civic, sounds perfect
  16. Where'd you find a frame big enough for that? :fu:
  17. I really like that steering wheel Mr.Big. Got a link to where you bought it?
  18. Haha, nice. I had hoped this one would pop back up. I resisted the urge to ask Matt where it was being stored when he found it at the tow yard. Sucks about the block, but at least you have good plans for the swap. Good luck man, looks like it is in good hands.
  19. Jrock, did you get my PM about those wheel centers? Sorry for the price bomb. I was just trying to ball like tanker :(
  20. Yum, smells like VWs :poke: Tanker, we need pics man... I bet the body guy is too busy making babies in the back.
  21. Yea, I think most here have spent big money trying to keep our babies on the road, but 6k in a week is a lot... That 4300 included 100 in groceries, 300 for rent, 100 for lights, all sorts of LZ components, wheels, two carburetors, headers, Bogg manifold and plenty of other goodies... All he got was some ripoff wheels, a steering wheel, and a hand...er, paint job :fu: If I sound jelly I am
  22. Did you happen to get in touch with rebello about the guides? I will be at work till after they close but I'll call tomorrow if we still haven't gotten an answer.
  23. Damn big money, I only spent 4300 this month and that was for two projects... and rent...
