I felt a big difference when I went to alum wheels(rotating mass and un sprung weight) Also taller wheels and tires change the gear ratio higher!

Nope it is a 64 Fury 4-door hard top. Its got a 68 Hi-Po 440, push button auto and 272posi! Thing is a smoke show waiting to happen!

Why would they not work? Have you seen the cross ram or other 50s and 60s mopar factory intakes? They were huge and long! The exh mani we will try to make look stock! Using sand blaster and an oil soak! Those are "Stupid Rare"-Shonuff, weber 34 single barrel downies. They are off a baja bug 1600. 4 Mikuni dirt bike carbs are next. Then this setup will go onto the goon! I would love to put those on the carbs! And not only do they clear, but they line right up with the scoup that was already there! What do you mean, "bad things"? We are gonna re-solder it with some better rod. It should be able to stand the shaking of the engine! Yes, it will have a HUGE cam and chokes are for pussys like you! :unsure:

I would say no. There is no frame to speak of, so the body of the car is the structure. All of the weight of the front of the car is in the strut towers. When you put a strut tower bar in you are limiting the amount of flex in the front of the body, thus making it stronger!

It is entirely possible,you could find one that is about the same length if ya cant find one for the car. You could do some measuring to find what cars are the same width and modify one for a different car. There are things like better springs and struts, sway bars, and tires that will help more performance wise. Does the car have any modifications? Anyway, welcome to the RatsunTEXT.
