personally don't like using them. noisy. I like using oem style or delrin for the TC arm in front and you can still get the rear leaf bushings from Nissan. this is what I did and it was nice and the car did not sound like junk

i remember a old friend of mine unfortunately don't see anymore had a LZ22 in his 510 using a holley 4 barrel and he swore by it as I guess that motor benefitted from it but if it is atock L16,L18,L20 I would not go with it and just stick with a weber 32/36 dgv

Pretty savage lookin wagon. that dome light is going to make things a lot brighter. was not a big fan of swastika wheels but in this case it looks alright

I am using mikuni but seems like most people say if you can get it to 3 psi it is better.Now when I had the stock fuel pump with no regulator I was getting 6 psi. People say the higher pressure can cause issues in terms of drivability and mess up the life of the carbs some. I went ahead and kept the stock pump and got a holley regulator and liquid filled pressure guage and set the carbs to 3 psi and did not notice much of a difference power wise but if it may mean better long term life of the carbs I am for it. i thought about going to Carter but if the stock one works fine I have no problem with it. Just seems some guys like using the electric unit to make the engine bay cleaner and supposedly better for cold starts but I kind of like the mechanical pump as the motor cranks some to build up oil pressure in the motor before the engine fires up.just my opinion

curious as i am not a electrical whiz but why would you need a relay for using HID's as doesn't the ballast on the HID kit just amplify the existing power coming out of the original headlight plugs? does the relay make the outgoing power from the original plugs transfer power better?

after a week or constant rain got wash and wax it and vaccum it out and clean engine bay. got the wife a newer car so don't need to drive the wagon to work anymore and I can get back on my bike. Yay for me.

X2 now you got me all looking at mine and mine is missing the bulb so I used a meter and checked it and it can work so I just need to go get a bulb

I have these filters on my wagon. they work fine so far. had them for several months. you can get them from Pierce manifolds but they mainly fit weber or mikuni horns. if you have a horn with curled lip or is rounded on the edge these won't work

wife's honda broke down for good today so the wagon has to step up and I have to drive her to work so did a bit of a one over on it. changed the oil,filter went over any bolts or nuts cleaned underside and engine bay made sure the jets on the carbs were not loose made some adjustments to the mikuni's found a loose header bolt and tightened it up popped on some new wiper blades since it has been raining here checked tire pressure

I am glad my friend and his family are all ok but kids are shaken up hard. they never felt a quake since they are so young. i did hear from Goichi1 and he is doing ok. said it was crazy. I am glad japan has a good disaster preparedness program but I am going to donate to red cross to help as I am sure a lot of people can use any type of help. my fried was here when we had the quake in 89 and said the japan one made the SF one look and feel like nothing. He is saying the aftershocks are stronger than the SF quake and I can tell you from going through the SF one the japan one must be big time

I have not seen too many places here stateside that sell anodized air horns. I think TWM sells carbon fiber ones. I think you may have to go get them anodized or get some from like japan. I seen anodized ones in japan.

stock 13" won't fit but I heard some panasports may fit but not sure. I know my 14" ssr wheels fit but I havd to shave my caliper a tad and it clears. I had 14"panasports before and they fit no issue

same here for me. it was almost for free for me to get the zx conversion and getting repair parts is very easy or easier. i read somewhere you have to keep up maintenance on wilwood calipers as they don't use dust boots around the pistons but not sure just what I have read.

Nice on the road again. Did not know not all datsuns did not have a fusible link or is it different between the years? I have one by my starter but hear some may have one near the fuse box. is this true?

The unit mounts to the fire wall If I remember and then two bolts to some brackets under the dash and then you have one hose on the passenger side and then another that goes to the valve on the drivers side. there are also two rubber vent tubes that connect to the unit that goes to the ducting. you should also have two cables that go for controlling heat and for either vent or floor.

looking for a complete stock exhaust manifold from a L16 with the secondary portion. looking for the manifold that cylinders 1 and 4 together and 2 and 3 together. mainly looking for someone getting rid of one for free or cheap in the sf bay area not looking for any shipping and please none that have rusty broken bolts. thanks in advance Benzo
