Fuel is funny. My scooter was made to burn regular. I got better mileage with mid grade. But premium from this place up in the hills that offered ethanol free premium gave me another 5-8 mpg.

Calm your shit bro. Check the throttle linkage, try turning it by hand to see if it brings the idle down. Maybe put a return spring on it. Then theres the idle cam, if it's catching on the highest part then idles gonna be way up. I had mine wrong and had to take the carb off and redo all the linkages.
