  1. Thanks! i spent a good amount of time last time my motor was out trying to clean it up, paint, tuck wires etc
  2. Well... After all the bondo and paint was removed I used this rust preventative clearcoat i found at a local hardware store, (pretty sure its just normal clear) put a couple coats of that on, that was just to mainly protect it for awhile, i need a new front fender, and the rear needs a lot more metal work before it can be painted. But considering i went from the pictures below to pics above i decided to rock the bare metal for ahwile:
  3. If i remember right it was just tire, and it was on stock struts, so if you have any form of coilover you should be a lot better off.
  4. I plan on heading down, although as some of you have seen, i get bored pretty easy and dont generally stick around long ;)
  5. I used the stock piece that the spring goes into that the bearing sits on, and the lower portion of the camber plates rests on the bearing and turns freely. However its not ideal because water, dirt, and dust can all get into the bearing, so ill be addressing that soon enough
  6. It would be cool to try and get another annual meet going, and GG is a great location for it... provided you dont have hundreds of cars that is! Edit: by another meet, i mean in place of NWN which moved to evergreen
  7. Cool lookin car! I dont know what your plans are for it or preferences but that thing would look awesome 2-3 inches lower!
  8. I agree, they had way more room then just the 100 cars they allowed, I even walked around the feild parking and saw better looking cars then some in the show, but hey, meybe next year!
  9. Yeah... Ive had it for a year now, the rust was all covered with bondo and has slowly worked its way out, but i didnt pay nearly 6k for it!
  10. Haha, i have a bunch of pics if you want to see them
  11. Never made it to a nissan fest at GG so i cant compare it to that, technically you could pay 5 dollars to park inside.. just sayin.. and what car show dont you have to pre register to be in? Personally as long as i can walk around and check out cars, im happy
  12. Ill take a look through all my pics and see what i have, but i can tell you my +12 offset 17x9.5 rubbed my stock struts before 30mm spacers and it was about an inch of poke after the spacers.\ Ill see what i can find for pics
  13. So as im finishing up some of the metal work on my ground up Z build, im trying to decide what to do with suspension. Ive been looking at the arizona z stuff for awhile, and it seems like nice quality stuff but a bit overpriced and i would have to save up for a lonngggg time before i could afford it. Im wondering what you guys think, i like the idea of a kit that has everything included, but at the same time i could probally get just as nice parts for a lot less money... Anyone know of any other full suspension/brake kits out there? ive looked but no luck finding anything
  14. I think anyone who went would agree, great turnout, lots of sweet cars, was totally worth going to!
  15. Heres some pics i took, probally some doubles but oh well.
  16. Thanks to whom ever left the ratsun sticker on my seat! i put it to good use!
  17. Depends on offset and how low you wanna go, i have 17x9.5s i plan on running, with a 245/45 tire, i can post some pics if you want, but im pretty sure youve seen my build thread
  18. Those who are planning on going to nissan fest after this, what time do you plan on rolling out??
  19. ^^ I feel like someones taking it a little to personally..... lol
  20. Awesome! ill be rolling down from golden gardens
  21. Thats awesome! A little rust never hurt anyone, cool to see you just keepin it goin!
  22. What time are you guys thinking about showing up at golden gardens? Anyone in the burlington/stanwood/marysville area want to meet up and roll down?
  23. Some pics of the flares, Suspension is loose so its not flush, sitting static assembled it should meybe just barely tuck rim. New fuel fill (will be underneath license plate) rear replacement floor (cant weld yet, have to make battery box and fuel cell mounts first) some floor pan patch work
