Ive never heard of that before, i think its turbo not motor though which is good, it only does it if i punch it and hit full boost, if i ease into it it doesnt smoke. , noticed some oil around the blowoff also noticed my oil return was a little kinked, so longer return line and im keeping my fingers crossed oil pressure was just building up in the turbo from the line. Also. since the full exhaust, one its very very very....very quite, but i think it messed with my tune, if i stab it into high rpms and full boost itll puff a little cloud of black smoke/grey, my theory is the exhaust fattened it up somehow, but i havent hooked the laptop up yet to confirm this. I got mine at shucks, it was only like 13 bucks too, went right in no problems (i was wondering if the 5 speed was gunna mess with things)

Speedo finally fixed (new cable) Exhaust finally ran...you almost literally cant even here it at an idle, (it used to sound like a diesl tractor.. no joke) axle rebuilt and installed Did another side of wheel bearings bled my brakes cause they were getting a bit soft and am currently working on installing some speakers... appearently listening to your ipod is illegal? Some bad news though... i noticed on the way home yesterday... the dreaded blue cloud trailing my car when i pulled onto the freeway... Time to dust off that l20 and finish building it!

Oh and for those of you who wanted them, i talked to a photographer buddy of mine and were gunna go get some "fancy" shots sometime next week!!

The 510 has really been consuming most of my energy lately, im about tired of working on it so i just want to get it into good dd shape and fix maintence stuff as needed and just start driving it and enjoying it again. not that i dont enjoy working on it.... The Z hasnt been touched in several months, so.... nuff said, but my dads really been pushing me to get going on it again so while im working and have some money im going to buy some big stuff that will hopefully get me to the point of needing paint. As far as this e30 thing goes, i dont need it until next summer, im going to throw everything inside the car and throw it outback under the carport until this spring lol it was just one of those things he was going to get rid of either way before he left for school, and i got a killer deal on it. fresh motor, tranny, brand new clutch and flywheel, complete car, coils, in good shape, basically everything is there except mounts, 750$.... it was really hard to pass up

Unfortunetely for my car i just purchased another project, i still want to go lower in the next couple weeks, and find some wheels if i can sell mine, but other then that i think im going to just keep it on the road and enjoy it for awhile instead of always having something break! I might start a build in the other section, but its an 84 e30 that i got off a good friend of mine who doesnt have enough time to finish it since hes going off to college, its pretty clean and complete, no motor or tranny, but comes with a v8 swap that i helped him build, the idea is a drift car for next summer.. The other purchase was a bunch of pipe for my cage in the z, so hopefully ill get goin on that here soon to,

Double gives me 8-10 inches of total travel, rides a little better then single, and if you cut the bump stops out, theres no issues going low, as soon as i can get the front lower ill go back to the rear and get the a-arm to sit on frame easily

Ill send him a message, the funny part is i have two brand new u joints in a box somewhere... would have been an easy fix if that other part didnt break. i was down until i got to the shortening and re-splining, its not even the cost so much as the time involved, im probally the most impatient person you will ever meet, and my 510 is my current dd ( i know i know who does all this un reliable stuff like boost and bags to a dd?) lol

Any links to info on that? Or possibly an axle out of something different that i could purchase new, or easier to find?

Been running 10 since day one, the werid part is it didnt happen under acceleration, it all came apart coming to a stop, not to say that hard acceleration didnt take its toll and that just happened to be when it fell apart... Thanks.... i know i cant go order one... already tried lol, i feel like its going to be like pulling teeth to get one Again, good, bad u joints, or just the piece that bolts to the suspension side, get ahold of me asap!!!!

If anyone has a good, or one with bad u joints or just the piece that bolts to the wheel/suspension, that will work in my 71 4dr sedan 510 please get ahold of me asap through message or 360 631 3898!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay im going with as light as possible then lol No problem! I think im gunna shorten my struts again with vw rabbit inserts. At this point if i pop a bag.... i couldnt drive it haha so i mine as well keep going lower if i can!
