  1. holy moly your killin me! just come pull the wideband out of my car, its not like its moving in the next week or two
  2. I have two that i currently drive pretty slammed to the ground............
  3. I dunno if you guys have seen this before, or if its to late, but here, meybe a little inspiration! (its long but lotttsss of pictures and it gets better as you go) http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10970
  4. hmm go figure mine are all a little bit different then that one, ill look in a couple other jet boxes, most of mine a keihan jets but my dad ran mikunis for the longest time, ill dig around in those boxes
  5. Alright sweet, just wanted to double check before i ordered them, thanks guys!
  6. Im putting my l20 back together, since its apart i was going to just do a quick hone and rings, stock bore is supposed to be 85mm right? so with a pair of calipers i tried measing the cylinder, 84.61 is the most i can get out of it, and the piston 84.74, Tops of the pistons are marked u23, now im assuming that that is std bore because it measures less then 85? so order std rings? Thanks Edit; those measurements were taken with a pretty cheap pair of calipers
  7. post a pitcure of one, i have tons of different jets laying around, does size matter?
  8. alright guys, i think you may have just talked me out of a decision i would have regretted, ill spend some time fixing it up and making it driveable again, see what happens! vintage, i dont have any other wheels to put on it!
  9. wellllll, if the douche who sold me the setup would have mentioned the gauge was shorted out, and i would have kept looking for a different one, then yes i suppose you could do that, but since the gauge is fawked, i just hook the laptop up whenever i need to do any tuning, after that, i figure it may change slightly with temp or something, but no need to toss another gauge in there
  10. Aerosport bags work great in the front, the only issue is if you wanna run a wide wheel and really slam it, you could adjust camber as well with plates Every logical thought says make both run and sell the 69, theres just something about that car that for some reason i love, but then its, how far do i go with it, do i do door cards and carpet and finish the wiring? or should i just finish the exhaust, make it move and get rid of it? You guys are right, i SHOULD sell the 69, the rust is bad, the bottom of the car is screwed, in your guys opinions what do you think i could reasonably sell the 69 for?
  11. Only once... its sitting in my driveway... Edit; either way i wouldnt run that turbo setup anymore, it was fun but it took its toll to fast, it was always worrying and tinkering, never driving and not thinking about every little sound coming from the engine bay. on top of that im communting 100 miles every day and start college up again in the fall.
  12. Everyone makes those impulse buys.... Have you ever gotten to the point of working on something every single day to keep it driveable where you finally hate it? I know, thats probally what i should do, its in way better shape, who knows what will happen at this point, all i know is i have two cars now, and i gotta get them both put back together either way. My reasoning behind selling the 71 is in my opinoin its worth more, and at the same time i get to start over with something different, unless you guys disagree? i would keep both, the whole idea was sell one and get my z to at least painted, as i said before, one 510 for my z finished is a pretty good trade.
  13. My cars down.............. i suppose if you really wanted to....... you could borrow my wideband, would only like a couple seconds to wire in, however youd either need to put the software on a laptop or borrow mine
  14. UPDATE the car is losing the blown motor and turbo setup and getting a ka. turbo setup is going into another sweet dime however
  15. well, im in the process of trading the l20 and the turbo setup for a twin cam swap. put that back in the 69 (which i finally took for a test drive today) and put the single cam in my car and see which one i like more, sell the other
  16. In your guys opinion, does having a ka24 singe or twin cam, make a car more appealing to a buyer then say an l series motor? easier or harder to sell my car with a blown l16, turboed with potential replacement motor, or a ka?
  17. Lol the way im looking at it is, a badass 510, for a show quality 240z (i just got finish it) with a 320hp v8...pretty good trade off, but i dont know if there will be much interest in it as it sits, but who knows! id like to keep it in the ratsun/datsun family because i dont want someone to get it who doesnt know how to work on shit, but we shall see what happens

  19. Hey guys, me and my dad were talking and he almost has me convinced if i sold one of my 510s i could have enough money to finish my Z, pretty good trade. For those of you who havent seen the car start here: http://community.rat...ted-71-4dr-510/ I could go on all day about the car Clean interior, flawless dash, rear seats, door cards, everthing. Currently runs and drives, l16 boosted with r1 carbs, however the motor is not so good, i ordered the parts to put the l20 back together and thats what would go in it. NOTE i will NOT sell the car boosted, you can gladly have the kit but i dont want someone thinking they could rape on it and not have problems, if your mechanically inclined enough to put it back on, then good, you could probally rebuild the motor if you had to as well. Rust in the passenger rear quarter is pretty bad and backs of the rockers. Bagged with aerosport and mr2 inserts front, double bellos and tockico in the rear. I have been dailying this car but if you dont know how to use a wrench, proballly not the car for you This is just a feeler, message me if your interested at all. Located in stanwood wa, asking 5000, or 4 without the bags, i know, pretty steep, but again just a feeler
