This photographer is a friend of mine... he does some wonderful pin-ups and nudes. Great guy.
  2. PM'd and all prices are OBO if you want to deal.
  3. Hey... looks like there is another meet the same day just down the road from where were suppose to meet. Its a NWTuner chili cook-off and photoshoot. All proceeds go to the Seattle Childrens Hospital. Since its so close, maybe we could move the meet this time around to here? http://www.facebook.com/events/235093516565229/
  4. You should bring the secret ride Tim
  5. With this being my first Canby, will they post who are the registered vendors are? Just trying to get a feel for who is going to be there...
  6. Wow! Thats quite a bit of cutting... then again you had quite a bit of rust. This should get the car going in the right direction. Do you already have the floor panels to weld back in?
  7. Ha, I do see a quite a few posts saying they want to be low like you Indy and then I see all your replies saying you cant even drive it. My only reason for saying low like you is youre one of the few that are extremely low. Im going to DD the car so I cant rub tire/wells, but am a fan of a vehicle that is lower than most. Im ok (though maybe not my girlfriend) with a bit of a shittier ride as its about at the point right... its pretty rough/stiff... so Ill look at replicating your suspension with maybe adding a bit of clearance for DD ability. With the money I just came in to, Im looking at upgrading all the suspension so Im just trying to do my homework.
  8. I did use the search function and did not find what I was looking for. There were a few pictures of the kit, but nothing installed. I search all the time for answers before I post... I searched here, the 510 Realm, Troys site, and Google in general. Edit: thanks for the member name.
  9. Im looking at coilovers and figured a straight bolt-on application would be easiest. Im a fan of low... and I mean low (like Indy low), and cant seem to find pictures of the coils installed. The only pictures that have TE kits are his actual car, but since he also as a plethora of other parts installed and custom race mods, I want to make sure I get to see how low they can actually go. Just short of searching every build thread here and on the Realm, I cant think of anything else to do. Does anyone have a location on some pictures I can take a look at or maybe a build thread on here? I would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Saying hello

Skib, you should actually turn this thread into a Poll and let us pick his new name. I know I would vote for Derp.
  11. Most rims will usually have the brand or at least series stamped/cast into them on the backside. Have your brother flip them over and read whats there. From there you should be able to Google whatever it is to get your info.
  12. If you look in the FS subforum there are fiberglass panels for some of the things youre looking for.
  13. If you want to beat a VW, you need more tyre stretch. But you have to spell it like that or youre a prick.
  14. Correct, the search function is horrible on this site IMHO.
  15. Sweet Spook... random that it was just chilln' in the garage; nice find though.

No its ok, shes wearing eyewear.
  17. Ha damn. Oh well, Ill stick with the original then. GLWS!
  18. The first set of numbers on a tire is the width in millimeters. So youre looking at 208mm converted to inches... which is a little over 8.
  19. Yes, that would be a little over 8 inches.
  20. Another good update I think: I came into a decent chunk of money this morning. My taxes came back to me and here in a few days Im hoping to receive my enlistment bonus (I just got out of a six year tour as a submariner and Im re-enlisting in the Reserves). Anyway, figured it was a good time to pick up a good sized present for the car and bought a set of rims. Here in a week of transit time, I will be able to rock a set of staggered SSR at 15x7's and 15x8's. I still need to find suitable tires as well as roll the wheel wells, but this is a start. They are currently a silver center with previously polished lip. Im going to repaint the centers and try to polish the lips myself. It should be a pretty easy process. Since the rear seat does not have a vinyl cover, I needed to find a way to cover it without spending a bunch of money on reupholstery. Im not at that stage yet in this build, but wanted to let people sit in the back without ruining my foam. That solution should be here on Thursday. Most of this is be done next week sometime. Tim (RaptorReed) with his Galant coupe, is coming down to spend the week working in the shop together, so all of these parts Im amassing will be installed then. It should be a pretty big change compared to the way that it looks now. Stay tuned for those pictures as there will be quite a few.
  21. You could always just throw some sand bags in the back of your truck above your axels. People do it in the Winter all the time.
  22. Wicked sick body kit... http://seattle.craig...2836332743.html
