  1. Haha Maybe I should get into this... would be nice to have at least one on the shelf.
  2. Wrong thread John... this is Hotwheels and toy not the Boso thread.
  3. Not currently posted on the NWDE site, but Canby is generally the second weekend in June every year.
  4. Yeah I edited my above post. Personally I like the dome tops better and planned it switch... Ill have to look for some sort of marking on mine when I pull it to see where it came from.
  5. Im only copying the bolt pattern, not the shape of the splash guard. And of course it would be with thicker gauge metal... it would be a worthless skid plate if it was made out of the super flimsy stock sized piece.
  6. Weird because Ive seen this radiator in another 69... interesting. You may have me beat this time John. To Google! Edit: Ok, well I conceed the point. Looks like you are correct about radiators. I owe you a beer when Im in Ft. Worth in a couple months.
  7. I like the plate on this one: Complete with defrost lines...
  8. I forgot about all markers being arrow over there, but Im still unconvinced. Grille looks like a normal straight grille to me and I cant even see how you can tell a difference in the turn signals. Looking under the hood, it also has a square top radiator where 70s had dome tops.
  9. You can rebuild yours using a 620 valve if the body is still good.
  10. I like everything about it, but all the crazy vents. I think it would look far better with a stock hood and fenders.
  11. What makes you think differently? It has arrow markers and the wipers arent opposing...
  12. Ok, making sure I wasnt going crazy because it looks nothing like #94. Anyway, Figured I could take that out and trace the bolt holes on some sheet, bend it to my needs, and then remount it.
  13. Thats not the piece Im talking about... I have a sheet metal piece thats under the radiator and extends back some. Its shaped like a U with both legs reaching along the sides of the block (though they are short legs). With its connection points under the radiator I figured you could use those and make a skid plate that attached at the rear of the crossmember. Ill snap a picture of mine when the light is better here.
  14. Being partial to '69 4drs., I thought it was pretty cool.
  15. I didnt miss your point. This whole thread is devoted to cars with the same style. None of the people doing this care... thats the point. I think if you have something thats snagging on those hoses, you have bigger problems. The hoses are only on the grilles and not on the ground or anything. If the coolers are functional, the problems they have are flying rocks puncturing them and running the engine without oil. Bu once again, no one who drives this style cares. Thats the point of this style... to not care; thats why the cars are so wild.
  16. Interesting on the skid plate... are there not mounts for a splashguard type thing on the 70+? I have one in my '69 that Im going to remove and use as a template to make a skid plate. I assumed all 510s had one. I just tried to find an image, but couldnt.
