Yeah before the swap I was always at like 3/4 temp. Did the swap and was at 1/2 then once I started losing coolant I was just under a half. When I was at the gas station about to check the water level, I cracked the pressure relief on the radiator cap and nothing happened. Thats when I knew I was in trouble.
Luckily I got it fixed up with the tools I had in the trunk and went about my day.
Haha if I sell the car, you can have the carpet.
So made a couple hour trip over to Bellevue to get some parts. I changed the thermostat the day before as I was running hot and I figured it was stuck partially shut (it was). On the way over my trip was spent eyebaling the temp gauge the whole way:
I pulled off to grab something to drink and I thought the car was smoking pretty heavily (I anticipated a little burnoff since I had coolant all over the block) so I checked it out. Housing was a little loose and I was running with very little coolant. Turns out the temp gauge was low because it wasnt reading any water haha.
Made it to Teds for some part, at some lunch with a local classmate and made it home.
NissanFest is just around the corner and I need to finish up some projects.

Man, I have a busy few weeks ahead of me. I think I better get started.
Not anything against Izzo, but this really makes me mad. I was on the computer all day and stopped for lunch. I come back and I missed the sale of a local truck.
This is bullshit. I've been looking for a 521. I'm so angry at myself.
Ha yeah, really cool guy. He also has 2 L320s, and one NL320.
What cool of him was he said if my parts didn't work out for my project, I could bring them back and exchange them for something else that would. Unheard of.
Bought a carpet kit from Shouldabeen. Great communication, billion options, fair prices, and quality carpet.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Great guy.
This piece of shit was acting like a jackhole and revving at me for like 10 minutes:
I got turned around off I5, but the silver lining is I found a Fatburger up here. That place is delicious and I thought they were a Cali only thing.
