  1. I missed that somewhere then. All the pictures I remember, it looked great. Maybe a good cut and buff will fix the paint. Either way, cant wait to see what you do with this.
  2. Youre going to repaint it? Welcome to Ratsun and Im glad the car made its way back. Banner loved that car so he took good care of it. Treat her nice.
  3. As soon as your precious 521 gets on Jay Lenos Garage and shows up in collector magazines... then Dave can make you some panels
  4. I do love me some MK1s. Maybe one day Ill pick one up...
  5. Im in love with those mud flaps
  6. Not anymore. Now that Im by the Warren Ave. Bridge Im garage-less. Ive done some driveline work in the parking lot, but I dont know if they would appreciate a full motor swap.
  7. Yes. I have a newer JATCO since the BW wont bolt up to the L16. If it wasnt column shift Id probably just 5spd swap it, but I really like the look of the column shift so Ill be keeping it for awhile. Maybe one day it will come out but not any time soon. Ive got a 32/36 waiting for a rebuild that I might throw on or just get my R1 carbs ready to go on.
  8. We just want a couple pictures, not the whole thread... just the tip :P
  9. No. That deal never went through and I never was able to pick one up. I just got this L20 maybe a month ago.
  10. Im so glad to see you back in the game Goon. Ill have to swing by and check out the beast... havent been over in ages.
  11. I forgot that L16 was even there. I do very much want to get in gear and get that L20 in. Especially before Winter. I dont know if the crappy L16 will last another cold season.
  12. Ok, well let me know if you ever want or need to change. I can set you up an FTP.
  13. With the variances in early and late panels, are you making them for both?
  14. Mike mentioned that Jun wanted it deleted so Mike archived it in case he ever wanted the content back. So he's got the thread squirreled away somewhere.
  15. Did you ever resolve your hosting situation? I may have some space on my server depending on your requirements. Hit me with a PM. I'm currently hosting the NWDE Archives.
  16. I wish Juns thread was still alive. He had a few pictures of the process on his wagon. Thread has been archived though. Maybe a mod will sift through it and look for the pictures if you ask nicely. That's the only how-to I've seen and it would be nice to have it back. Eventually I'll want to do it as well.
  17. Like I mentioned, they will be right-side up once I actually bolt everything down tomorrow. Picking up the needed items to mount the garnish in the morning so everything should be bolted down (and correctly oriented) for completed pictures sometime around lunch. Thanks! Im starting to love it more and more. I like the direction Im headed haha Ive been trying to compile a complete listing of added features, but there seems to be little data out there. I have a JDM brochure that Ive wanted to translate to see whats in there, but havent gotten around to it. I know there is the rear badge as well as fender badges (which I also have, just not mounted yet), and in the 70+ models there are Deluxe taillights. Other than that, Im not too sure. Like I said, info is scarce.
  18. Someone loan me $800 so I can pick up something new... Or Ill give you my SSRs after the new wheels get here. ^_^
  19. That shits just way too crazy for me. Im pretty happy with the plain brushed/polished look right now. Im going to be hitting Lowes tomorrow for mounting hardware and it should be installed permanently tomorrow sometime. Looks like I just found a cream rear seat so I can get rid of that Mexican blanket in the back. Ill fold it up and lay it across the bench seat for awhile since the bottom is ripped up. I know my dog will appreciate it since she slides all over the place when she tags along. Now I just need, well want, a 68 rear bumper and Ill be all set. Getting close to being completed "look-wise."
  20. Those 15x9s could be fun to complete my MKIII set.
  21. Id rock those BBS RS'. Those are the perfect size for me... Ive been contemplating a set. I also wouldnt need to rebarrel these which is nice, but $2400 to my door is a bit steep.
