Description

I have these brand new 510 roof racks thatll fit your 2 or 4 door coupe. I make roof racks for air cooled VW and BMW2002 and I've been ask on a weekly basis if I can make one for a 510, at the time I was to overwhelmed with other projects but now I've started to make them. A few of you 510 owners have modified or customized a VW bug to fit your car for the simple fact that there wasn't a roof rack you can call your own... there is now!

These sit low to the roof line for that Sleek look. Comes with a pair of mounting clamps and stainless steel hardware. The rack is made up of 1/2 round steel tubing and 1/2 square tubing. Theres 10 wooden slats that have been stained in a natural or red mahogany stain and coated with polyurethane to help protect against the outdoor elements. The rack has been primered and painted with rustoleum primer and Rust-Oleum Hammer finish silver Or Rust-Oleum gloss black. Easy to mount. Nice racks. You say they sit low to the roof line but I'm curious to know exactly how low. The lower the better in my opinion.

The spacing between the rack and roof is roughly 1inch - 1- 1/4

Well it's all about supply and demand. If no one wants them there's no point for me to build them. I figure Datsun 5 10s deserve a roof rack. I made half a dozen of them, if they don't sell Within 8 weeks there's no use for me to keep making them.

I do ship. I can have it wrapped up, boxed and shipped via Greyhound Freight. The cost for shipping would be $82. For a grand total of $307. The closest Greyhound to you is in Denver off of 1055 19th Street. If you're still interested let me know

Yes I'm still building both the for the 510 and wagon. Unfortunately don't have any more in stock but I can put you on a build a list. It usually takes roughly 10 to 12 days to complete. Unfortunately do to metal shortages and high demand of steel, the prices have gone up a bit. The 510 rack goes for $260 and the wagon rack goes for $400. If you're still interested I would need a deposit of only $25 to get you on the build list. If you're interested let me know or if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

I’m definitely interested in a 510 sedan rack at that price! Yes. I'm still building these racks if anyone is interested. However, these are made to order. The turn around time is usually week. Unfortunately the price has gone up since the last time posted them here. These racks are now $280.
