Description

Anybody got a junk cab they can cut the area out of where mine is rusty in the picture? Glass is busted out on the driver side so want to do the repair semi properly before putting new window in.

 

Trade for datsun parts, cash etc.

Hi Mike, not to sound like a butthead but isn't 521 in the title enough if an individual were to come across this ad here on Ratsun? 

But just for the sake of clarity it's a Datsun 521 pickup, the body style ranges from 1969-1972. Thanks

Have you considered just making a patch?  We patch up "odd" rust areas like this often, but then again, our metal guy has the experience fabricating/forming patches like this!

 That's definitely a possibility, my day job is a sheet metal fabricator with laser cutter and press brake I just wanna cut out the rust and fit up the new old piece and be done. Just faster in my opinion.

you could just get some metal the same thickness and fab the piece and stich it together. 

Theirs U-tube vids that can show you how to DIY.

Thanks, like I mentioned to yenpit I could certainly do that I have all the equipment and skill. Time is the big factor for me. When it comes to the floor pans and fender flanges I will certainly be doing the work and just fab something in.
