Agree with Matt.

Can't speak for the 70's but from the mid 80's to mid 90's, Dealers would install "upgrade" radios. You could order a base vehicle that may or may not have had at the very least cigarette lighter. 

I remember the parts catalog showing radios for the older vehicles. So maybe some factory installed?

I think all of the 68-73 510 radio's were Hitachi's.  As far as I know, all of the 240Z's were also Hitachi.  Keep in mind that some new car owners would quickly install a "better" radio, so I have seen 510's with all sorts of other brands, including Clarion, as that was a popular upgrade brand!
