Last weekend VARA had a race at Buttonwillow. I was running C-Sedan with my 1200. The actual race starts at 7:45 and I put it in the dirt at minute 18:35 (brain fade), I manage to catch back up to a wounded Mini (class leader) I get past him on the final corner but alas I flubbed the downshift and he gets back by right at the finish.  It was loads of fun.

After watching your 1200, it seemed like it was/wasn't getting traction in the corners, was it tires, tire pressure or??

 

I have watched your other videos and haven't noticed this reaction in the turns.

The LSD is starting to get fairly loose. The two big places were the 180 right on the back side of the course before the esses and turn 2. I'm on the hunt for H190 clutch plates. Ironically I turned faster laps than the last time I was there.

We just had to pull our H190 LSD with broken clutch plates.

May have to think harder about getting a batch of them made.

Did you pull it apart?  Do you need the plates with the inner ears/teeth or the outer?  We need inners.

Have not pulled it apart and probably won't for several months. I'm in the middle of a motor upgrade on my formula car; I have a rule about not taking apart two race cars at the same time.

Wasn't that an R190? Same clutches?

I think Jeff said the clutch pack is the same.  I don't remember.  Jeff says I'm so old now I'm lucky to remember my name!  : )  What?!  Who said that?
