Bandit240
That looks like one cold Datsun. Good luck with the floor pans. Quote Link to comment
Madness
They shouldn't be to hard to fix, they are pretty flat. And I'm not looking at it like a chore but as an opportunity, I've never had the pleasure of fabbing floor pans. Quote Link to comment
cheg
yeah that's a good lookin truck for sure i love the grill and mirror and hopefully you wont have to much trouble with the floor pans Quote Link to comment

Pacific coast Datsun
very artistic pix! Love the similarities between the mirrors & headlight covers. Floor pans...somewhat easy fix. what are the mirrors off of? Quote Link to comment
Madness
I only have the one mirror and it came off an old rambler i think... I do believe it was a universal mirror for that time period. Only problem is the glass is broken but a buddy of mine might be able to get me a new one. Ill see if i can get a high res of that pic. It took me a while on that one because I touched up a few places, some highlights here and some shadowing there. On second thought why don't I just make a wallpaper with that image if I can't get the image size right. Really all it takes for shots like that is some crazy angles and a contrast adjustment. Edited December 6, 2008 by Madness Quote Link to comment
Skib
lol I spent a few years studying film/photography so I always appreciate a nice composition Quote Link to comment

Madness
Well thank you for the compliments. I've really been thinking about taking a photography class just so I can pick up some of the tips and tricks of shooting and editing. Right now all I'm using for editing is picture it express, but my new lap top is on the way and I hope to get Photoshop for it just so I can really get a firm grip on it all and I think I have a firm lead on a "cheap" Nikon D40 from a friend of mine. I have taken some pretty sweet pictures with my old Sharp camera phone... Quote Link to comment
Skib
you can pic up a ver. of photoshop for like $99 for PC. I got lucky and managed to get the whole CS2 package for free;) lol saved me like $300 Quote Link to comment
Madness
As far as photoshop, I know people ;) But until I get to the level of understanding light properties, editing like a pro, and having as many lenses as this dude, I wouldn't call myself a photographer. Quote Link to comment
Skib
As far as photoshop, I know people ;) :D thats how i got my CS2 lol, curtsey of the art institutes and my friends Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V hahaha Quote Link to comment

Buzzbomb
That's a cool little truck...The wheels and tires work great with that color. Looks like it has floors from snow country. Once you get one pinhole, the whole witches brew of salt and now magnesium chloride gets kicked under the rubber floor mats, and then it's bye bye floors. Like you said, though, the floors are really pretty straight. It probably won't be hard to make patches for it. Quote Link to comment
veryboard
That floor should not be to hard to fix.Far better than the one I have,at least you still have your rockers. The floor, rocker panels, cab corners and most of the door pillars on booth sides of my 521 were rotted out.Just about all better now, only thing is it takes a bit of time to do.It will all be worth it in the end.Nice truck I like the blue with the white walls.
