rayven14
Id been trying to post in the classifieds with no luck, so I'll just drop this here and see what happens. Full fiberglass replacement hood, 13 pounds, ready to mount 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I see nor restriction from posting in the classifieds. Keep trying. Fill in all the boxes before pushing the ADD AVERT at the very bottom. The posts in 720 and 510 will quickly fill with new posts pushing yours farther and farther down and off the page. This is an '83 and up hood? 1 Quote Link to comment
rayven14
This will fit the 81 thru 83.5 Datsun and the Nissan 84 thru 86.5 I also go the classified ad worked out, pics were too big! 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
1980 720 hood was 1 Year only. Had vent across the back of the hood. 82/83 720 hood had side vents with plastic Inserts. 84 to 86 720 hood looks like your fiberglass hood. All hoods interchange through the years of manufacture. datzenmike
Yup, but are interchangeable. I like the '81-'82 with the vents on the sides. 1 Quote Link to comment
bottomwatcher
You have it advertised as a 710 hood in the classifieds. Anyway are you popping these? They look good and I am curious on you fiberglass layup schedule. Hand laid or chopper gun? Again good work. 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Forgot to say there were 4 different hoods. '80, '81-'82, '83-'84 and '85-'86. 1 Quote Link to comment
rayven14
The Gentleman that I did the work for informed me of the model years and fitment. Not sure where he got his info but he seemed to have some knowledge on the subject. 1 Quote Link to comment

The top is 2 layer of 1.5 oz mat with one addition 12 inch strip down the center ( the center is 3 layers of 1.5 - for additional stiffness) the brace is 1 layer of 1.5 oz mat. All hand laid. 13 pounds total weight 1 Quote Link to comment
