five10
Can't figure out what this wire connects to. I have a manual and a diagram and I still can't figure it out. 😔 Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
get a ohm meter and ohm that blue wire to the one side of the fuses till it shorts out  then read the Cover of the fuse box and see what it Matches too!!!!!!  to help you its the AIRCOND wire. youll get 12voltsw when the key is on so don't let it hit the body of the car and short out the batter or pope the fuse Edited December 21, 2020 by banzai510(hainz) Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Â Â Brings power from the ignition switch to the AirCon and the Wipers fuses. You can see it has a brass connection crimped on the end so it must plug into one of those plastic connectors nearby. Quote Link to comment
yenpit
They are correct..........that wire was installed in the fusebox at the factory, to make installing the dealer installed/aftermarket AC kits easier! Funny, I just figured this out a month ago, while selling a USED fusebox! Wonder if the earlier 1969 fusebox had this wire, cuz the dealer installed AC was rare in the 69's............
