Dirtyowlnumber4
Anyone else encountered a really sticky throttle pedal? The cable and throttle body on the carb is moving nice the problem is at the hinge point on the pedal in the car. I can make it a little better for a few minutes by oiling it. 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
It's barely a hinge, just a pin through two holes in metal just a few mms thick and a spring. If you are sure it's the pedal then take it out and clean it while looking for damage. I guess carpet fibers or underlay and/or dirt from shoes could get in there but I don't know. It's almost always the cable... I converted my 710 from linkage to throttle cable because motorcycle carbs but generally the pin and spring will look more or less like this... . 1 Quote Link to comment
NC85ST
If it’s the cable, you can get a new one from Nissan. 1 Quote Link to comment
