spddm0n
I noticed the driver-side doesn’t have the same slide-rail “mechanism” as the passenger side. The passenger side has a mechanism that engages the slide rails (to move the seat forward and backward) when simply flipping the the seat back forward. The driver side seat doesn’t have that. Am I missing that part on the driver side, or is it is only provided on the passenger side? 1 Quote Link to comment
canon3383
The passenger seat has the slide forward to have access to the jump seats in the back, it does not have that for the drivers seat as the mechanism on the drivers side Only makes the seat tilt back and forward. There are many past articles about the seats, the Forum has a lot of Great information. 1 Quote Link to comment

I wondered though, because I only have one jump seat in the back too (passenger-side). I thought maybe that was as designed also, and thus only the passenger-side front seat would need to slide forward when flipping it forward. Did these trucks come with both jump seats in the back? 1 Quote Link to comment

I figured as much, but wondered with the additional odd evidence of the sliding rail mechanism. 🙂 Looks like I have to keep my eyes peeled for a driver-side jump seat. 🙂 1 Quote Link to comment

The seats are tan with a bit darker-colored fabric in the center. I may try to fix the driver-side seat if I can find the zig zag springs for it. They are in such good shape otherwise. 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
If you are wanting the drives side rear seat there is a truck in the local wrecking yard that had that seat in it last week. I will be in the yard on Saturday and can pull it if you want it. 1 Quote Link to comment

Perhaps we could share a short phone call to discuss it. 1 Quote Link to comment
